NBA Playoffs Betting Predictions for Round 2 Possible Matchups and Celtics vs Bucks Analysis

NBA Playoffs Betting Predictions for Round 2: Possible Matchups and Celtics vs Bucks Analysis

We’ve finally figured out our first conference semifinal matchup in the NBA. Now that the Milwaukee Bucks have disposed of the Chicago Bulls, they can look forward to a matchup with arguably the hottest team in the NBA, the Boston Celtics. While the Miami Heat have already moved on as well, we’re still not sure of their opponent.

Out West, we still have some battles to settle. The top-seeded Suns have a 3-2 lead over the Pelicans. The Memphis Grizzlies are also up 3-2 over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas is also up 3-2 over Utah, and the Golden State Warriors can wrap their series with Denver up on Wednesday night, as they hold a 3-1 series lead.

We’re going to give you a breakdown of the one conference semifinal matchup that we know for sure, and then we’re going to predict who will win the other ones so you can bet against the NBA Playoffs Odds.

We’ve Finally Figured Out Our 1st Conference Semifinal Matchup | NBA Playoffs Betting

Eastern Conference

  • (2) Boston Celtics vs (3) Milwaukee Bucks

Arguably the two best players remaining in the playoff will collide in this one, as Jayson Tatum will face Giannis Antetokounmpo. Boston figured out how to slow Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving down, and now they’ll have to figure out how to stop the “Greek Freak”. We’re not sure if we’ll see Khris Middleton in this one, but not having him will be a huge loss for Milwaukee.

  • (1) Miami Heat vs (4) Philadelphia 76ers

We’re predicting that the Sixers will slip past the Toronto Raptors. Bam Adebayo will have to defend Joel Embiid, and that will be a fun matchup to watch. The Heat are one of the top defensive teams in the league. We’ll see which James Harden shows up for Philadelphia, the passive one, or the one that will try and put up 30 points.

Western Conference

  • (1) Phoenix Suns vs (4) Dallas Mavericks

Phoenix suddenly looks beatable, as they’ve been without Devin Booker. His status is still unknown, but when you’re dealing with a hamstring injury, it’s best not to rush it. Luka Doncic has seemed to have gotten over his calf injury. He along with Jalen Brunson have been scoring a ton of points. We’ll see if Chris Paul can lead the Suns to victory, or if Luka Doncic can carry the Mavericks to another series victory.

  • (2) Memphis Grizzlies vs (3) Golden State Warriors

This one may be the most fun series to watch. We’ll see a lot of offense in this one if it happens. Now that Stephen Curry has moved back into the starting lineup, the Warriors boast one of the best shooting lineups ever assembled. With Curry, Klay Thompson, and the rising superstar Jordan Poole, the Warriors can light it up. Draymond Green has also played well thus far in the playoffs.

Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, and Dillon Brooks think that they’re just as good as the Warriors trio of guards, and they’ll be looking to show everyone that they can play as well. Memphis will need to get more contributions from Jaren Jackson Jr. if they want to move past the Warriors. We’ll see which team wants to assert themselves on the defensive end.
