Real Madrid Vs Marseille

You have to say that last season was a disappointing one for Madrid, as they crashed out of the tournament relatively early.

They are off to a winning start to the LaLiga season, coming into this game with a 100% record, although most of their wins have not been particular convincing.

Marseille is a little tougher to figure out, going 2-2 to start the season.

That said, their losses have come on the road, while their convincing wins have come at home.

You have to give the edge to the home team here.

Bayern Munich Vs Chelsea

We move to Wednesday for the next pair of games, both of which are absolutely fantastic.

Bayern returned to the top of the Bundesliga last season, winning it comfortably, and they seem to be very tough to beat again this season.

They have a perfect record this season and are scoring for fun, but this is certainly stiffer competition than what they have faced to this point.

Chelsea is not really living up to the preseason hype at the moment, although they are unbeaten through their first 4 games.

They are coming off a 2-2 tie with Bournemouth this past weekend.

I think we get a lot of goals in this one.

Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid

As mentioned earlier, the current Premier League champions are off to a perfect start to the new season.

They are coming off a 1-0 win over Burnley this past weekend, but they needed a late penalty win against the EPL new boys.

Still, they are always tough to beat at home, especially on European nights.

Atletico started the season with a surprising loss, but they have bounced back with a win and 2 ties.

As always, they will look to set out a defensive stall in hopes of frustrating the opposition, but that Liverpool firepower is going to be tough to stop.
