Week 13 of the college football season has already proven to be unlucky for some, as we already have a handful of games that have been postponed. We have also seen Alabama head coach Nick Saban diagnosed with COVID, which may have an impact on one of the games that we have on the must watch list for this week. Even with some games already taken off the schedule, there are still a few that should certainly be on your radar. We have a couple of those games going on Friday, as this is Thanksgiving Week, a time when a lot of people get Thursday and Friday off from work. We have 4 games in total on our list for this week, so let’s get right to it and then you can go ahead to make your bets against their NCAAF odds.
NCAAF Week 13 Odds, Overview & Picks to Bet On
Iowa State Cyclones at Texas Cowboys
This is one of the games that is set to go on Friday night, and it is big because it is going to have an impact on the top of the Big 12 standings. Right now, it is the Iowa State Cyclones who have the top spot in the conference, but it is an incredibly tight race, with several teams waiting to pounce and leapfrog them. One of these teams is the Texas Longhorns, who are currently sitting in 3rd in the Big 12 standings. Texas needs this win if they are to make their way into the Conference Championship Game this season, so they will certainly be pleased to be having this one at home.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish at UNC Tar Heels
It is tough to say how the top 4 is going to play out this season, mostly because teams in other conferences still have more games to play than others. What we can say is that Notre Dame will stay there if they can win out this season. The Irish are 9-0 coming into this weekend, but this is a very tricky little road trip to face a very good team. North Carolina has had a couple of slip ups this season, but they are still dangerous at home and will be out to play the role of spoiler in this one.
Auburn Tigers at Alabama Crimson Tide
It is going to be odd to see Alabama playing a football game without Nick Saban patrolling the sideline, but that is exactly what we are going to see this weekend, as he has been diagnosed with COVID. This, though, is the Iron Bowl, so no player on either team should need any sort of push from their coach to get fired up for this one. This is a game that tends to produce some fireworks and a bunch of memorable moments, so it is one that we all need to tune into.
LSU Tigers at Texas A&M Aggies
You had better believe that the Aggies will be looking at some of these other games with keen interest, as a slip up by one of the teams in the top 4 could allow them to slip in. The Aggies are currently ranked #5 with a 6-1 record, but they do still need some help to move on up. Playing at home will certainly help their cause, but they will be well aware that while the defending national champions are having a tough season, they are still not an easy out. Could we see the Texas A&M Aggies slip into the top 4 after this weekend?
