NCAA Football Georgia Bulldogs Wins Total Betting Prediction for Upcoming 2022 Season

NCAA Football Georgia Bulldogs Wins Total Betting Prediction for Upcoming 2022 Season

After 41 long years, the University of Georgia can say that they’re defending their National Championship. After last year’s National Championship, the Georgia Bulldogs will have a different look to them this season. There were 15 Bulldogs drafted in this year’s draft, so Kirby Smart will have some work to do.

Much like the University of Alabama does these days, Georgia is now in the same boat. They don’t rebuild; they just reload. Georgia has one of the top recruiting classes coming in for the upcoming season, and combine that with the talented players that were already on the roster, and you’ll have a team ready to win another championship. Let’s take a closer look at what lies ahead for Georgia so you can plan your bets against their NCAAF Regular Season Wins Odds.

2022 Win/Loss Prediction

The oddsmakers still think that Georgia will be a very good program this season; however, they don’t think they’ll be as good as they were last season. The predicted win total is 10.5 wins. With a lot of new personnel adjusting to the rigors of a vaunted SEC schedule, we’ll see if Georgia can surpass that number.

They don’t have as tough a schedule as they have in years past, so they could eclipse the 10.5. Let’s take a look at their 2022 schedule.

Who’s Next?

Georgia doesn’t start off with a pushover. They’ll be inviting former defensive coordinator Dan Lanning and his Oregon Ducks to Atlanta for the season opener. This will be Lanning’s debut at Oregon, and you’ll know he’ll be fired up to take on his former squad.

The pushover will come in Week 2, as they’ll host Samford. Week 3 could pose a challenge as the Bulldogs open SEC play with a game at South Carolina. Shane Beamer has done a great job of rebuilding the Gamecock program, and now that he has transfer quarterback Shane Rattler at the helm, South Carolina could be very dangerous.

The Dawgs then hit a relatively easy stretch of games in their schedule. They host Kent State, followed by a trip to Missouri.

They then host the Auburn Tigers and Vanderbilt in consecutive weeks. They shouldn’t have issues with any of these teams, but you never know.

The “World’s Largest Cocktail Party” is the next week, as they take on the Florida Gators in Jacksonville. First-year Florida head coach Billy Napier knows that he needs to make a good showing against Georgia, as Dan Mullen went 1-3 against the Bulldogs.

The next three games are also a little tougher, as Georgia hosts the Tennessee Volunteers, take a trip to Mississippi State to visit Mike Leach, and then head to Lexington to take on the Kentucky Wildcats. Mike Stoops has done a great job of building the Kentucky program, and they’re no longer the pushover that they used to be.

Georgia ends the season at home, hosting their in-state rivals, the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech. All in all, this is a very favorable schedule for Georgia, and they could surpass the 10.5 win mark set by the oddsmakers.
