NCAA Football Oregon Ducks WinLoss Total Betting Prediction for the 2022 Season

NCAA Football Oregon Ducks Win/Loss Total Betting Prediction for the 2022 Season

We are in some strange times in college football, as we are seeing lots of changes made to the game. NIL has changed where players go and how many head into the transfer portal, while upcoming moves to different conferences and an eventual increase to the number of teams making the playoffs has things in a bit of turmoil. USC and UCLA have already announced that they want to leave the PAC 12 for the Big Ten, with many believing that the Oregon Ducks might also want a part of that. These are all things that are still in the distance, though, so all we can do for now is focus on the coming season. With that in mind, we are going to take a look at the Oregon Ducks, who ended last year with a 10-4 (10-2 in the regular season) record, although a loss to the Utah Utes in the Conference Championship Game almost certainly still stings. Will they improve on that performance or take a step back? The Sports Online Bookies seem to think maybe the latter, as they have the Ducks win total set at 8 ½. Let’s see what lies ahead for this team so you can plan your bets against their NCAAF Regular Season Wins Odds.

Oregon 2022 Season Betting Prediction: Win/Loss Total Record

Ducks Regular Season Schedule

In terms of opening the season, the Ducks could not have chosen a tougher Week 1 game, as they will be in Atlanta to face the defending National Champion Georgia Bulldogs. A loss here would not totally hurt them, but a win would already have folks in Oregon talking about a playoff spot. I think this one goes down as a loss. Next up in September are home games against Eastern Washington and a tricky one against BYU. They close out the month on the road to Washington State and should be at 3-1 by this point.

Stanford at home and Arizona on the road are the first two games in the month of October, and when you consider that those two teams combined for just 4 wins last season, you would have to think that it would be 2 more wins for the Ducks. They close out the month of October with a tough one at home to UCLA, followed by a road trip to face Cal.

The home stretch comes in November, and it will certainly not be an easy run to the finish line. Road trips are never easy, but Oregon should still come away with the win in Colorado. They then have Washington at home, followed by a 2021 PAC 12 Conference Championship Game rematch against the Utah Utes. The Ducks will be hoping for some revenge there before closing out the regular season on the road at Oregon State.

Playoffs or Bowl Game

I think that the OVER 8 ½ is a good bet here. Yes, I think the Oregon Ducks will lose in Week 1, but they should be favored to win all their remaining games after that one. Even if they do slip up and drop another one, that would still leave them with double-digit wins. Not enough for a playoff spot, but good enough to get to the Conference Championship Game and a good bowl game.
