Boston is 6-4 over its last 10 games but managed to win four straight before the break including a 132-125 home win over Toronto the last time out. Brooklyn went a near-perfect 9-1 over its last 10 games while winning two straight before the break. The Nets laid an emphatic 132-114 smackdown on Houston the last time out. The Nets will look to ‘double down’ on Boston after spanking the C’s 123-95 on Christmas Day.

Golden State (19-18) at LA Clippers (24-14) at 10:00 PM ET

When: Thursday, March 11
Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA

The Warriors went 5-5 over its final 10 games before the all-star break. Golden State will look to snap a three-game skid that includes an embarrassing 120-98 blowout loss at Phoenix the last time out. The Clippers went 4-6 over its final 10 games before the break. LA also dropped three straight including a crushing 119-117 road loss at Washington. These rivals have split two meetings this season with Golden State winning 115-105 in the last meeting.

Denver (21-15) at Memphis (16-16) at 8:00 PM ET

The Nuggets are 6-4 over their last 10 games but hit the all-star break riding a four-game winning streak that includes a 113-103 win at Indiana the last time out. Memphis is 5-5 over its last 10 games. The Grizzlies had their modest two-game winning streak snapped in its heartbreaking 112-111 home loss against Milwaukee just before the break. Memphis beat Denver 104-96 on Jan. 28 to snap a four-game losing streak against the Nuggets.

Toronto (17-19) at Charlotte (17-18) at 7:00 PM ET

When: Saturday, March 13
Where: Spectrum Center, Charlotte, NC

The Raptors are 5-5 over their last 10 games. Toronto dropped two straight just before the break including a 132-125 road loss at Boston the last time out. Charlotte also went 5-5 over its last 10 games. The Hornets have alternated wins and losses over its last 10 games including a 135-102 blowout win over Minnesota the last time out. Toronto recorded consecutive home wins over Charlotte on Jan. 14 and 16, though the Hornets covered the spread each time.

Portland (21-14) at Minnesota (7-29) at 8:00 PM ET

Where: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN

The Blazers won six of 10 and three straight prior to the all-star break including a 123-119 win over Sacramento in its last contest. The Timberwolves have dropped nine straight. A head coaching change has not helped one iota. Minnesota has lost five in a row under new head coach Chris Finch, who, I suspect, they don’t want to play for. Portland beat the hell out of Minnesota 135-117 on Jan. 7
