NBA Top Betting Picks & Predictions for this Week’s Best Matches

The All-Star weekend was a ton of fun for basketball fans, and while the players still have a few days off to rest and relax, the action will return later this week. When it does, we will be heading down the homestretch of the regular season, with the battle for playoff spots and seedings set to move into high gear. The races in both conferences are tight, and even those teams who look set to be in the postseason cannot relax, as they know the importance of getting a higher seeding so that they can spend as much time as possible at home in the postseason. The action starts back up on Thursday night, so let’s look at some NBA betting analysis of the best games coming our way this week.

Denver Nuggets at Cleveland Cavaliers

When: Thursday, February 23, 2023
Where: Rocket Mortagage Fieldhouse

Time: 7:00 PM ET
TV: NBA TV

If the regular season ended today, both of these teams would be in the playoffs. The Nuggets went inti the All-Star Break in complete control of the Western Conference, leading the pack by 5 games. The have won 3 in a row and 7 of their last 10 and have been a nightmare in their own building, going 27-4 at home. The Cavaliers have won 8 of their last 10 games and are in the #5 spot in the Eastern Conference. Their goal coming down the stretch will be to climb higher and get home court advantage in at least one round of the postseason. Two teams very much in form makes for a great matchup.

Sacramento Kings at LA Clippers

When: Friday, February 24
Where: Crypto.com Arena

Time: 10:30 PM ET
TV: NBA TV

We move into the weekend with a fantastic Western Conference matchup set to go on Friday night. The Sacramento Kings will make the short trip to LA to face the Clippers, with these teams holding the #3 and #4 seeds, respectively. The Kings are a game up on the Clippers at the moment, but they looked like a team that needed the break, going just 5-5 in their last 10 games. On the flipside, the Clippers made up some ground during that run, winning 6 of 10, including 2 in a row. Big playoff implications in this one.

Boston Celtics at Philadelphia 76ers

When: Saturday, February 25
Where: Wells Fargo Center

Time: 8:30 PM ET
TV: ABC

It’s a busy schedule on Saturday night, but you have to say that this game is the pick of the bunch. The Celtics headed into the break atop the Eastern Conference, but they have a slender half game lead over the Bucks, as well as being just 3 games up on the 76ers, who are currently sitting in the #2 seed. A win for Philly here could really tighten things up at the top, which would be great news for the neutrals who love to see a tight battle. The 76ers won 4 in a row heading into the break, so they’ll be hoping to pick up where they left off.

Brooklyn Nets at Atlanta Hawks

When: Sunday, February 26, 2023
Where: State Farm Arena

Time: 3:00 PM ET
TV: NBA TV

While we have been focusing on games featuring teams at the top of their respective conferences, there are some great battles going on down around the play-in zone. The Nets are in the #5 spot right now, but also just 2 ½ games clear, so no time for them to get comfortable. It is going to be interesting to see what they look like after all the big moves they made at the deadline. For the Hawks, the goal is to get out of the play-in zone and into the top 6, but they are heading in the wrong direction at the moment.
