NFL Week 14 Betting Predictions: Teams that Will Certainly Win their Match

Written by on December 6, 2022

Week 14 is finally here, and teams are putting the pedal to the medal as the race for a playoff spot is quickly approaching. There were a couple upsets and some surprises last week, in addition, some teams are starting to get hot, while other teams are already looking ahead to the 2023 offseason. With the playoffs right around the corners, let’s take a look at the surefire winners of week 14 for your NFL betting needs.

Who Are the Sure Winners in Week 14 of NFL Action?

New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills (-9.5)

The New York Jets are in trouble in Week 14. They will have their second straight road contest after posting a dismal performance against the Vikings in which they totaled just six first-half points. The Jets are putting too much pressure on Mike White as he had to throw the ball 57 times last week that ended into a two-interception game. Additionally, New York has failed to cover the spread in two of their last three games, and it looks like they are starting to slow down on both sides of the ball.

As for the Buffalo Bills, after going through a rough two-game losing streak, Buffalo has bounced back and hit their stride, winning three straight contests. Over that stretch, the Bills have averaged 27.7 points and have covered the spread in two out of those three games. Buffalo also plays on another level at home with a 4-1 record; expect them to dominate this matchup in Week 14.

Houston Texans vs. Dallas Cowboys (-14.5)

Dallas is not only the better team, but they are fighting for the NFC East title and a spot in the NFC playoffs. The Cowboys enter this matchup having won four of their last five games and they should be well rested come off of their bye week. The offense has been outstanding since Dak Prescott came back from injury, and Cedee Lamb has started to break out as well.

Not to mention, the Cowboys’ defense has been one of the best in the league. The unit came into the week ranked sixth in yards allowed (309.6) and second in scoring defense (17ppg). The Texans are averaging a league-worst 279 yards per game.

The Dallas Cowboys are primed to come off their bye week with a blowout win. The Houston Texans are absolutely awful. The offense has zero things going for them; Kyle Allen lended the Brown’s defense a helping hand as he conceded a fumble for a touchdown as well as an interception returned for a touchdown. The Texans pushed their losing streak to seven, and you can bet on the Cowboys handing Houston their eighth straight loss.

Carolina Panthers vs Seattle Seahawks (-6.5)

All indications are that the Panthers will lose this game in Week 14. The Seattle Seahawks are excelling on the football field. They’re not just 7-5, but they’re surprisingly in the running to win the NFC West. The team’s offense is among the league’s top five, as Geno Smith had another terrific game throwing for 367 yards and three touchdowns. The unit has dominated NFL stats ranking in the top 10 in most offensive categories.

On the other hand, Carolina enters this contest with no victories on the road this year. With quarterback uncertainty and a team that has numerous injuries to its defensive line and secondary, they will have to travel across the country. The Panthers have also failed to cover the spread once when traveling this season. Expect the Seahawks to be big winners and push for a NFC West title.
