It was another huge weekend of football action in Week 9, but things are only going to become more intense as we draw ever closer to the end of the season. Now is the time when teams seriously start to think about the playoffs and where they currently stand, so expect to see some desperation begin to bleed in, especially for those teams currently sitting below the playoff line in both conferences. Many of the divisions are still in the too close to call category at the moment, so even the teams that are playing well and leading the way right now are well aware that they cannot take their foot off the gas. For now, lets turn our attention to Week 10 and the ATS picks that we have made for the upcoming games so you can go ahead and bet on their NFL odds.
Week 10 ATS Picks for the 2020 Season | NFL Betting
Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans (-2)
Speaking of divisional battles, we have a great one going in the AFC South, with the Titans and Colts looking set to duke it out all the way to the end. Tennessee got back on track with a win over the weekend after losing back to back games. They now lead the division with a 6-2 record, but the Colts are hot on their heels at 5-3. This is a critical game in the battle for the division, so I am expecting a close one. I am going against the trend with this one, as it has been the Colts who have covered in 13 of their last 17 meetings with Tennessee. The fact that the spread is so tight and that the Titans are at home has me leaning in the direction of Tennessee.
LA Chargers at Miami Dolphins (-3)
There were some who thought that the Miami Dolphins may have pulled the trigger a little too quickly in naming Tua Tagovailoa as their starting QB a couple of weeks ago. It now looks like a brilliant move, as he has led his team to back to back wins, including an incredible shootout against the Arizona Cardinals this past weekend. He will try to go 3 for 3 this week when the Dolphins host the Chargers, who have a great young QB of their own in Justin Herbert. The Chargers, though, come into this one having gone just 4-9 in their last 13 games against the Dolphins, while Miami has now covered the spread in 6 of their last 7 games overall. I like Miami to win and cover and keep the good times rolling.
San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints (-9)
While certainly not out of it in a tight divisional race in the West, it is increasingly looking as though the 49ers are about to join the growing list of teams that fail to make the playoffs the season following a Super Bowl loss. In fairness to the 49ers, they have been absolutely hammered by the injury bug this season. Things are not about to get any easier for them, as they will be on the road this weekend against a Saints team that has now won 5 in a row and who are coming off a blowout win over Brady and the Buccaneers. They have shown little mercy against lesser teams, covering in 5 of their last 6 games against teams with a losing record.
