In a similar vein, the Wednesday night game between the Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild will be one where scheduling will play a huge role. The Avs are also on the second night of a back-to-back, after facing the Lightning at Ball Arena on Tuesday. They will then have to travel to Minnesota for this contest, where an emotional letdown could also be in the cards for them after attempting to prove that last season’s Stanley Cup Final was no fluke.

Minnesota enters this week holding onto the final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. Their spot in this year’s postseason is anything but assured, so you can expect them to come out with a massive sense of urgency in this contest. Against a potentially exhausted Avalanche team that is facing a brutal travel schedule, look for the Wild to be the fresher team from the start on Wednesday.

Rangers vs. Flames

When: Saturday, February 18th, 2023
Where: Madison Square Garden

Our final NHL game to be sure to bet on takes place North of the border, when the Calgary Flames host the New York Rangers at the Scotiabank Saddledome. This is another back to back spot to keep an eye on, as the Rangers are playing for the second straight night against a Western Conference foe on the road. However, the Rangers might be the team worth wagering on in this contest despite their travel constraints.
