Pittsburgh at NY Rangers

The Penguins (5-3-1) took out the Rangers (2-4-2) 5-4 in overtime on Saturday to improve to 5-1 over the last six games. New York has lost five of six with three of those defeats coming against the Penguins. Pittsburgh is 6-2 in the last eight meetings and 10-3 in their last 13 road dates against the Rangers.
Vancouver at Montreal
- When: Tuesday, February 2 at 8:30 PM ET
Vancouver (6-5) has won four straight while not allowing more than one goal in each contest. The Canucks got past Winnipeg 4-1 on Saturday after recording a trio of wins over lowly Ottawa. Montreal (5-1-2) had its three-game winning streak snapped in its 2-0 loss against Calgary on Saturday. The Canadiens are 17-5 in the last 22 meetings against Vancouver and 6-1 in their last seven home games against the Canucks, but the road team is 4-1 in the last five meetings.
Detroit at Tamp Bay
- When: Wednesday, February 3 at 5:30 PM ET
Detroit (2-6-2) has lost six straight including its 3-2 road loss against Florida on Sunday. Tampa Bay (4-1-1) snapped a modest two-game skid by getting past Nashville 4-3 on Saturday. The Red Wings are 30th in scoring (2.0 gpg) and 27th in goals allowed (3.5 gpg). Conversely, Tampa Bay ranks 13th in scoring (3.2 gpg) and a stellar sixth in goals allowed (2.3 gpg). This one could be over by the end of the first period. Ironically, Detroit won the last meetings 5-4 in a shootout just over a year ago.
Calgary at Winnipeg
- When: Thursday, February 4 at 8:00 PM ET
Calgary (3-3-1) snapped its three-game losing streak by upsetting Montreal 2-0 on Saturday. Winnipeg (5-3-0) has alternated wins and losses over its last four games including a 4-1 loss against Vancouver on Saturday. These two longtime rivals have split the last 10 meetings evenly with Winnipeg recording a 4-3 overtime home win on Jan. 14. Winnipeg ranks a stellar fourth in scoring (3.6 gpg) and has the superior offense in this affair, but Calgary ranks seventh in goals allowed (2.4 gpg) and has the big edge defensively.
Boston at Philadelphia
- When: Friday, February 5 at 7:00 PM ET
I’m fired up for this matchup NHL betting buffs. Boston (5-1-2) had its three-game winning streak snapped in its 4-3 overtime loss against Washington on Saturday. Philadelphia (7-2-1) hits the new week riding a four-game winning streak that includes a 4-3 win over the same New York Islanders team that dispatched them out of last season’s playoffs. Boston has won three of the last four against Philly including a 6-1 blowout win on Jan. 23, two days after getting past the Flyers 5-4 in a shootout.
Arizona at Minnesota
- When: Saturday, February 6 at 3:00 PM ET
Arizona (3-4-1) got past Anaheim 3-2 on Thursday to snap a two-game losing streak while Minnesota (6-4-0) got past Colorado 4-3 in overtime on Sunday. The Wild have won three straight in this rivalry including an 8-5 blowout win the last time they met in December of 2019. The Coyotes rank 25th in scoring (2.5 gpg), but a fantastic ninth in goals allowed (2.6 gpg). Minnesota is 16th in scoring (2.9 gpg) and 15th in goals allowed (2.8 gpg).
Colorado at St. Louis
- When: Sunday, February 7 at 3:00 PM ET
Colorado (6-3-1) had its three-game winning streak snapped in its narrow 4-3 road loss against Minnesota on Sunday. St. Louis (6-2-1) has won three straight and four of five including a 4-1 win over Anaheim on Sunday. Colorado has won three straight in this rivalry – after St. Louis won the previous three meetings. This one is going to be a flat-out thriller.
