After the first couple matchdays at this year’s World Cup, soccer fans can be forgiven if they’re ultra-bullish on Man City. The Sky Blues showed why money has gone to the Citizens. Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also played well. See below for updated UEFA Champions League Odds and analysis.

Manchester City should be the chalk, but are they playable at +202?
Odds of 2-to-1 to win the Champions League are often underlay odds. Manchester City might be a team that deserves a look at +200.
The Sky Blues beat Sevilla 4-0 in their first CL match and then bested Dortmund 1-0 in their second. City’s Champions League form has been terrific.
They’ve also stepped it up in Premier League play. The Citizens are a point behind Arsenal, but the Sky Blues have scored 17 goals compared to the Gunners’ 10.
Erling Haaland is unstoppable. The top transfer from Dortmund has scored 11 goals from 27 shots in 7 starts. As long as Haaland remains healthy, no team should challenge City on the scoreboard.
Also, the longer the Champions League goes, the more time Pep has to get the defense to play better together. At +200 odds, City might be an overlay.
Which team among the next five choices based on odds is an overlay or underlay.
At +500, Paris Saint-Germain is an underlay. PSG has won both their Champions League matches. But they ceded a goal to overmatched Haifa in a 3-1 CL victory.
In the other win, Paris beat Juve 2-1 at home and on their pitch. If Paris Saint-Germain dominates a strong team like Benfica in their group match, we can believe.
Right now, we can’t believe in PSG. We can believe in Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga squad has beaten Inter 2-0 and Barcelona 2-0 in their Champions League matches. At the odds, Bayern is an overlay to win it all.
So is Real Madrid. El Blanco beat Leipzig 2-0 and Celtic 3-0 in their 2 CL matches. Not only has Real dominated in Champions League play, but they’ve also dominated in La Liga, winning all 6 of their matches.
Liverpool is an underlay. The Reds beat Ajax 2-1, but in their first Champions League match, they lost to Napoli 4-1. Pool doesn’t have it this season.
Tottenham and Napoli are legit contenders
Sporting CP beat Tottenham in the Hotspur’s last match. But in their first CL match, Tottenham bested Marseille 2-0. Also, Tottenham will get a shot versus Sporting CP in the next match in the aggregate.
Napoli is playing like a Serie A and Champions League contender. After blasting Pool 4-1, Napoli put a 3-0 beating onto 2021 Europa League runner up Glasgow Rangers.
Serie A’s best team right now is playing like a multiple league winner. If you’re looking for an underdog to back, Napoli or Tottenham is your best bet.
