Grade 1 Arlington Million winner Set Piece will have his fans. Horseplayers will also bet Todd Pletcher trained and Grade 1 Manhattan Stakes winner Up to the Mark, Indestructible, and Stitched. Atone, Harlan Estate, and Annapolis should also run.

Pletcher loves to unleash his 2 year olds this time of the year. No wonder Todd should saddle the favorite in the Champagne. Fierceness broke the maiden in the first lifetime race. The Pletcher trained colt should go off the chalk followed by Chad Brown’s General Partners.

Hoping for a bounce back performance, some horseplayers will back Steve Asmussen trained Gold Sweep. The talented 2 year old finished sixth in the Grade 1 Hopeful in the last.
