This week is the last in the MLB regular season, and while a lot of the battles have now been won and lost, there are still some spots up for grabs. We also have a divisional race that is going to go all the way down to the wire, so, there is still a lot to play for over the next few days. As we do every week at this time, we are going to look ahead to the upcoming schedule and see if we can pick out some pitchers you should be looking at when it comes time to wager. They have a road trip to New York to face the Mets to start the week, which is not an easy trip, even with the Mets struggling this season. Tuesday night will see them send Braxton Garrett to the mound as he looks to improve in his 9-6 record and 3.53 ERA. He has given up 0 ER in his last 2 starts, which included a win over the Mets in his last outing.

Detroit Tigers | #29

The Tigers are officially eliminated from playoff contention, but they are still playing some decent ball coming down the stretch, winning 6 of their last 10 games. They have a chance to keep the wins coming with a series against the Oakland As this week, and I particularly like them in the Wednesday game with Tarik Skubal on the mound. Skubal is 7-3 with a 2.95 ERA this season, but it is what he has done against Oakland that stands out. He has started against them twice, pitching 11 innings and failing to surrender a single ER.

Toronto Blue Jays | #40
Bats: Right / Throws: Right

They still have a little bit of work to do, but at this point, you have to think that the Blue Jays are a Wild Card lock. They could have things locked up by the time Thursday rolls around, but if not, then I like their chances against the Yankees with Bassitt on the mound. He has had a stellar season to this point, going 15-8 and posting a 3.74 ERA. In the month of September, the Bue Jays have won 3 of the 4 games that Bassitt has started, and I like them to keep that positive run alive on Thursday night.

Arizona Diamondbacks | #23

The Riday game for the D-Backs could be an interesting one, as they are facing a Houston Astros team that could still be trying to clinch the division, although given the current standings, they could have things licked up by then Either way, I think that Arizona is always a good bet when they have Gallen in as the starter. He has posted a 17-8 record this season and an ERA of 3.49. He has picked up wins in 3 of his last 4 and looks to be finishing the season on a high note.
