AP Poll 25 Betting Picks: Best Ranked Teams for Week 13 and their Playoffs Picture

As we approach the final week of the NCAAF regular season, it’s now time to take a look at the top teams in this week’s AP Top 25 Poll. We’ll go over each team’s final opponent, and then we’ll dive into their playoff chances so you can continue betting against the NCAA Football Odds

Who’s At the Top of the Polls, and What are their Playoff Chances?

1. Georgia Bulldogs

Although they haven’t looked as sharp lately, the Georgia Bulldogs are still the consensus #1 team in the polls. After last week’s lackluster 16-6 victory over Kentucky, the Bulldogs are now done with SEC regular season play.

They will end their regular season with a date with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Even with a loss to LSU in the SEC Championship game, the Bulldogs are all but assured one of the four College Football Playoff spots.

2. Ohio State Buckeyes

The Buckeyes may have been overlooking the Maryland Terrapins last Saturday, but they still managed to walk away with a 43-30 victory. They now have revenge on their mind, as they will finish out the regular season by hosting the also-undefeated Michigan Wolverines.

Michigan embarrassed Ohio State last season in the “Big House.” The winner of this one will advance to the Big 10 Championship game and will have the inside track on a spot in the College Football Playoffs.

3. Michigan Wolverines

It took a last-second field goal, but Michigan survived the Illinois Fighting Illini to remain undefeated heading into their long-awaited clash with the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus. Michigan may be without star running back Blake Corum, who injured his knee in the Illinois game.

Michigan also has some other key injuries to deal with. If Michigan loses, they still have a good shot at making the playoffs, but you hate to leave it up to the decision of a committee.

4. TCU Horned Frogs

TCU just keeps finding ways to win and stay undefeated. After narrowly escaping Baylor with a 29-28 win last week, TCU will now look to keep its record unblemished by beating Iowa State this weekend.

Iowa State has one of the best football defenses in the country and has won three straight against TCU. The Horned Frogs know that a loss probably ends their playoff hopes, so they know how much this game means to their season.

5. USC Trojans

USC beat their crosstown rivals, the UCLA Bruins, last weekend, and things don’t get any easier, as they now have to play one of their long-standing rivals, the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

USC can’t afford to get its second loss in this one. If they do, their playoff hopes are gone. Notre Dame has been playing well as of late; this one should be fun.

6. LSU Tigers

Having already clinched a berth in the SEC title game against Georgia, the LSU Tigers now have to beat a falling Texas A&M team in College Station. Even with two losses, LSU knows that it still has a shot at a playoff berth.

With a win over A&M and then an upset win over Georgia in the SEC title game, the Tigers would more than likely end up with one of the four playoff spots.
