Wild Card Round ATS Betting Predictions | 2023 NFL Odds
Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers | Saturday, January 14th
The Seahawks had to sweat things out on Sunday night, waiting to see if the Packers would win and knock them out. Green Bay lost, so Seattle will be on the road to face the high-flying 49ers, who come into the postseason on a 10-game win streak. Given all that info, it’s perhaps no real surprise that the 49ers are in as a 10-point favorite. They have covered in 7 of their last 8, while Seattle on just 1-7 ATS in that same stretch.
NFL Wild Card Betting Pick: 49ers to cover.
LA Chargers at Jacksonville Jaguars | Saturday, January 14th
This one is basically in as a coin flip, with the Jaguars in as a 1-point underdog at home. There is a lot to be said for momentum when the playoffs roll around, and with 5 straight wins to close out the regular season, the Jags have that momentum. As good as they have been, the Chargers have been a great road bet, covering in 7 of their last 9 away from home. I think they do enough to get the tough road win.
NFL Wild Card Betting Pick: Chargers to cover.
Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills | Sunday, January 15th
In a perfect world, the Bills would be sitting this one out and enjoying a week off as the #1 seed, but the way things went, this is where they landed. The Dolphins made it into the postseason by the skin of their teeth and are banged up and bruised. I think this will be a short visit to the playoffs for them.
NFL Wild Card Betting Pick: Bills to cover.
New York Giants at Minnesota Vikings | Sunday, January 15th
This is a nice story for the Giants, who look to be on the right path in their rebuild. That said, they had an inconsistent second half of the season, seemingly running out of steam along the way. The Vikings ran away with their division, racking up 13 wins. The Giants have covered in 6 of their last 7 games, but I think they come up short here.
NFL Wild Card Betting Pick: Vikings to cover.
Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals | | Sunday, January 15th
If familiarity does indeed breed contempt, then expect this one to be nasty. These AFC Nort rivals, who actually just met in Week 18, will be renewing hostilities on Sunday night. The Ravens will be hoping to have Lamar Jackson ready to go, but how effective can they really expect him to be after weeks on the sideline. The Bengals beat the Ravens this past Sunday and should do again as a 6 ½ point favorite.
NFL Wild Card Betting Pick: Bengals to cover.
Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Monday, January 16th
This is where being a division winner has its benefits. The Buccaneers ended the season with a losing record, but they were still good enough to top a very weak NFC South. The Cowboys went 12-5 on the season but finished behind Philly in the East, Dallas hits the road as a 3-point favorite and have a great road record, going 12-5 ATS in their last 17 games played away from home.
NFL Wild Card Betting Pick: Cowboys to cover.
