Throw the standings aside when these two long time rivals get together. Two of the oldest franchises in all of the NHL get together in Boston and coming into the game, the Bruins are 7-0-1 at home this season, and have the best goal differential in the league at +23.
The Bruins lead the Eastern Conference with 29 points. For Detroit, they have hit a couple rough patches, but are sitting at the 9th spot in the East which leaves them at within striking distance as the end of November starts to arrive. At the end, their young talent of the Red Wings will be a hit or miss so far in 2023.
Look for a fun game, but in the end, it is going to be hard to bet against the Bruins. They are too good defensively to lose too many games. They just do not give up many goals.
