NFL Betting – Arizona Cardinals Calendar Odds & Analysis For the 2021-22 Season

Arizona Cardinals: 2020 Season Recap

The Cardinals started the 2020 season well at 5-2, thanks to a strong connection between Kyler Murray and newly acquired receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Arizona couldn’t stop opposing offenses, which aided a late-season slide, finishing third in the NFC West at 8-8.

Arizona Cardinals: Odds for 2021

MyBookie has you covered for all things NFL betting. On site, you can find every available bet for the Cardinals, from Week 1 odds to Super Bowl LVI odds and everything in between.

The Cardinals have the 18th-highest odds to win the next Super Bowl, at +3800. Their odds, however, are a bit higher in the NFC, at eighth-best: +1600.

In the loaded NFC West, the path for all teams will be challenging. The betting public is favoring the other three teams in this division, evidenced by the Cardinals’ +400 odds to win the division, the worst in the NFC West.

Arizona Cardinals: 2021 Schedule

As mentioned, the Cardinals schedule immediately becomes tough as a member of the NFC West. Both the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams made the playoffs in 2020, and the San Francisco 49ers made it to the Super Bowl in 2019 before suffering a rash of injuries this past season.

As such, the Cardinals’ schedule is tough from the get-go, playing each of these teams twice.

The NFC West, and thus Arizona, draw the AFC South and NFC North in scheduling this season. As a refresher, each division plays one other division in the NFC and AFC, along with the two other teams that came in the same place in the division as them in their own conference.

This will be the first season the NFL plays 17 games. The 17th game will be against the opposing conference, rotating divisions with a team who finished in the same place like you last season.

The teams on Arizona’s schedule:

  • Tennessee Titans
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Houston Texans
  • Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Chicago Bears
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • Detroit Lions
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • Carolina Panthers
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Seattle Seahawks (x2)
  • Los Angeles Rams (x2)
  • San Francisco 49ers (x2)

There are seven teams from the above list who made the playoffs in 2020, making for a difficult schedule.

They do draw a few favorable opponents in the Texans, Jaguars, Bears, Lions, Cowboys, and Panthers. The Packers may not be as menacing either if Aaron Rodgers is indeed traded.

2021 Season Prediction

Arizona made a few high-profile moves this offseason to address their defense, including the additions of JJ Watt, Malcolm Butler, and Markus Golden, along with the first-round draft pick, LB Zaven Collins.

Murray and Hopkins had some electrifying moments in 2020, and if they can build on it, Arizona will be competing for a playoff spot in 2021.

With the above schedule and the toughest division in football, it’s best to stay away from Cardinals futures and wait for win totals to be posted on MyBookie.

Initial odds for total wins elsewhere had the Cardinals at an over/under of 8 wins. Consider taking the over, a bet on the growth of Murray and the stability of this new defensive core.

NFL Arizona Cardinals Calendar Analysis In 2020

The NFC West plays non-division games against the NFC East and AFC East in 2020 and that means the Arizona Cardinals will face three teams from those division that made the playoffs a year ago (New England, Buffalo and Philadelphia). More importantly, Arizona is tied for the eighth toughest schedule in the league in 2020 (.518). Now, let’s find out what lies ahead for Murray and company in 2020 along with their NFL odds.

While the Arizona Cardinals (5-10-1 SU, 9-5-2 ATS) won ‘just’ five games in 2019, the longtime NFC West residents had one of the most successful campaigns of any team in the NFL in 2019. You see, the rebuilding franchise never quit in their first season under head coach Kliff Kingsbury as rookie quarterback Kyler Murray showed he was definitely worthy of the top overall pick.
