Baltimore Ravens Season Rundown

Over 11.5 Wins +110 vs Under 11.5 Wins -135

Baltimore has a difficult schedule because not only is Buffalo, Kansas City, and the Houston Texans are on the schedule, but so are the teams in the NFC East, Dallas and Philly stand out, as well as the LA Chargers.

In addition, the Ravens must take on the Bengals, Browns, and Steelers twice. It’s difficult to imagine a more difficult schedule in the NFL this season. What it means is that Baltimore comes close but doesn’t go over 11.5 wins.

Ravens to Win the AFC North +115

Baltimore is going to be one of the better teams in the NFL this season. That doesn’t mean they win a second straight AFC North title. Pittsburgh could be significantly improved with Russell Wilson throwing the ball in Steel Town.

The Bengals will bounce back after Joe Burrow had to sit out most of last season and Cleveland is a legit Super Bowl contender. The odds are light on the Ravens to win a second straight division title, which is another reason to roll the dice on one of their rivals.

Ravens to Win the AFC Conference +470

If Baltimore couldn’t get it done last season, when everything appeared to be going their way, how will they get it done this season?

The answer is that they most likely won’t. Derrick Henry isn’t necessarily an upgrade at running back considering Henry is now 30 years old and has taken a beating for a while.

Not only that, but even though Baltimore’s defense and offensive line will be terrific, the Ravens must still navigate what appears to be the most difficult schedule in the NFL. Finally, the odds make Baltimore a play against.

Kansas City will always be in the mix because of Patrick Mahomes. The Texans are an excellent play at their current +780 odds because Houston improved big time from last season. Miami, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and the New York Jets all improved before the NFL Draft and offer higher odds than the Ravens.

QB Lamar Jackson to Win NFL MVP +1025

It’s tough to win back-to-back NFL MVP awards. But if there is a player in the NFL that can get it done, it’s Lamar Jackson. The two-time NFL MVP is the fifth choice on the board after Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and CJ Stroud.

All four of those plays, save for maybe Josh Allen, are drop back passer types. Nobody can do what Lamar does, which means at the +1025 odds, Jackson is a decent play to score a second straight MVP.

LB Roquan Smith to Win Defensive Player of the Year +7500

It’s tough for linebackers to win NFL Defensive Player of the Year because they don’t post the sack numbers that defensive ends accrue. Roquan Smith recorded 1.5 sacks last season.

No matter if he recorded 84 tackles, a forced fumble, and an interception or that he is one of the most feared linebackers in the league. Without the sack stats, Smith won’t attract votes.

John Harbaugh to Win Coach of the Year +6000

Like with Kyle Shanahan in San Francisco, John Harbaugh will never win the NFL Coach of the Year Award because the award goes to the coach that does more with less. Harbaugh has built a powerhouse AFC team, which means expectations are that the Ravens win games.

Baltimore could go 15-2 and Harbaugh would still lose out to Sean Payton or someone like what who takes a team like the Denver Broncos to the playoffs with a 9-8 record. That’s the nature of the NFL Coach of the Year Award.

Baltimore Ravens to Win Super Bowl 2025 +910

Like the odds to win the AFC Championship, the odds on Baltimore to win the Super Bowl are light. The Ravens are a quality club for sure, but they have a higher bar to leap over due to the incredibly difficult schedule.

Baltimore mustn’t just play Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, the Chargers, and Tampa Bay, but the Ravens must travel to Big D, KC, LA, NRG Stadium in Texas, and Tampa. Winning any of those games is going to be tough and that’s before discussing road games versus the Browns, Bengals, and Steelers.

The Ravens could pull it off, but, again, if they couldn’t get by Mahomes and his mates last season, how will they do it this season? Play against Lamar and his buds to win the 2025 Super Bowl.
