Sweden Over the U.S. and Denmark Against Australia are the Top Two Underdog Plays

The top two underdog money line plays are Denmark against host nation Australia and Sweden over the United States. Let’s discuss the Danes versus the Aussies.

Denmark’s attack hasn’t been as impressive as Australia’s in the tournament. But the Danes held England to a single goal in a 1-0 loss. Denmark could play defense throughout and then catch the Aussies napping on the counter attack.

The United States is an underlay versus Sweden. During the group stage, the U.S. drew twice and beat Vietnam 3-0 as a -6.5 favorite. Sweden beat Italy 5-0 and Argentina 2-0 in their last two group stage matches. Sweden is a fantastic money line play at +240 odds.
