This is the perfect time of year to start looking at future betting odds and also take a look at the player prop bets that are out there. When it comes to offense, betting on a player to win the Offensive Player of the Year Award is always a good option.

You have to look very far down the list to even find Jordan Love, as he currently has odds set at +15000 to win that award. Those odds could move in a big way if he starts to play well, but they are way behind the former Packers QB.

Aaron Rodgers has odds set at +4000 to win the Offensive Player of the Year Award, and that sheds light on how little is expected of Love this season. The odds for Love to have the most passing yards in 2023 are set at +5000, and there are only a few starting quarterbacks with worse odds than that.

Packers Ready to Run?

The Green Bay Packers have always had a solid rushing attack to go along with Aaron Rodgers, but it’s been a unit that sometimes got overlooked. Green Bay is expected to have to turn to that rushing attack more in 2023, and that could lead to a huge season for Aaron Jones.

Jones will have to share the ball with A.J. Dillon throughout the year as well, but it will be Jones that gets most of the reps as a starter. He currently has odds set at +2500 to lead the NFL in rushing yards, which puts him at number 17 on the list.

These odds suggest that there isn’t a ton of hope in the Packers being an electric offense during the 2023 season, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t have a good year. Green Bay will be trying to find some balance, and they aren’t going to let Love try to do too much.

The offense of the Packers have kept the team afloat throughout the past decade, as the defense hasn’t always done its part. Without Rodgers, oddsmakers believe that the Packers could be taking a significant step back.

The odds for Green Bay to win the NFC North Division this season are set at +400, and that’s a tie with the Chicago Bears for the worst odds. Detroit (+130) currently is the favorite to win the division, and the Minnesota Vikings are right behind them at +280.
