There are now 7 weeks in the books in the NFL, and if anything has become apparent this season, it’s that we should not get too high on any one team. Yes, there are a few teams who look like legitimate Super Bowl contenders, but we have also seen a stunning array of injuries to start players, so each of those teams is just one or two injuries away from seeing a great season head south. The hope is that every player stays healthy and that we get to see every team at their very best. For now, all we can do is focus on the week ahead, which means taking a peek at Week 8 and putting together some parlay picks for you guys to bet on against their NFL odds.
Week 8 Parlay Picks for the 2020 NFL Regular Season
NFL Week 8 SU Parlay – Steelers, Colts, Bills
There are a lot of big games on the schedule this weekend, but perhaps none bigger than the AFC North clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens. This will probably be a hard-hitting slugfest, but I like the Steelers D to get the job done.
The Indianapolis Colts have been a little up and down this season, but at 4-2, they are still in touch with the lead in the AFC South. The Detroit Lions left it late last weekend, but they have now won 2 in a row. The bad news for Detroit is that they have lost 5 of the last 6 times that Indy has come to town.
The Buffalo Bills won ugly last weekend over the New York Jets, but the W is all that matters. They can take control of the AFC East with a win over the slumping New England Patriots this weekend. I like the Bills to get the job done.
NFL Week 8 ATS Parlay – Packers (-7), Titans (-6), Bills (-3 ½)
After a bit of a blowout at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Packers returned to form last weekend and moved to 5-1 on the season. This weekend sees them go against the Minnesota Vikings. I like the Packers to win, and since they have covered in all 5 wins this season, this pick makes sense.
The Tennessee Titans came close to pulling themselves out of a big deficit versus the Steelers last weekend, but they came up short and took their first loss of the season. I think they bounce back with a comfortable win over the Bengals.
We have already discussed the game between the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots, and while I try to pick different games when doing these parlays, I just think that the Bills are very good value as a 3 ½ point favorite.
NFL Week 8 O/U Parlay – Titans (O54 ½), Raiders (O54), Saints (O45 ½)
The Cincinnati Bengals are sitting at 1-5-1 on the season, but they probably deserve a little better. They appear to have their QB of the future, but they need help on the defensive side of the football. I think they and the Titans might get into a shootout, so I am on the OVER.
If you are a fan of offensive football, you will have enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and the Las Vegas Raiders this season. These two will hook up this weekend in a game that should produce some big offensive fireworks.
The New Orleans Saints have not been as explosive as we expected this season, but they are still a team that can put points on the board quickly. The Bears have also had issues on the offensive side of the football, but I have a hunch this one will go OVER.
