New Orleans Saints -3 at Carolina Panthers
Cleveland Browns -2 at Pittsburgh Steelers

New Orleans struggled for the win against Tennessee, but that was because the Saints played a veteran team and made some mistakes. If Carr and the offense improves, the Saints will blow out the Panthers. Carolina has some talent but N’Awlins’ D sacked Ryan Tannehill 3 times and picked off Tanny 3 times. So Bryce Young will be in some trouble.

Cleveland is a different team than the unit from last season. The Steelers will play the Browns tough, but even if Cleveland bounces after the win over the Bengals, the Browns should dominate Kenny Pickett and Pittsburgh’s offense. So Cleveland covers.

The Rams looked great against an underperforming and porous defense. Seattle really played badly against the Rams in their first game of the season. The Rams won’t play the same in their second game versus the San Francisco 49ers. SF dominated Pittsburgh. The Niners have the best defense in the NFL and the Rams’ offensive line still isn’t great no matter what it did against Seattle.

Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers -155

Don’t expect the Chiefs to bounce back in their second game. Even if Travis Kelce returns to the field, and we have no idea if he will, the Jaguars’ offense took the next step in the win against a decent Colts’ defense. KC starts the season 0-2.

Chicago isn’t good enough to beat a Baker Mayfield led Tampa squad on the road. Baker is an upgrade over a close to 50 year old Tom Brady at quarterback. Yes. We just wrote that. Also, TB’s defense is much better than advertised.

We love the odds on the Packers, who are one of the NFC’s best teams. Once Jordan Love got comfortable, he started dominating Chicago’s defense. Also, Green Bay’s D is terrific.

Atlanta is good and they’ve got a serious weapon in Bijan Robinson. But Desmond Ridder is going to have to make great plays in this and we doubt he makes more than a couple, three at the most.

So the Dallas Cowboys shock the New York Giants on the road, win by 40, and all of a sudden the Boys are going to take home the Lombardi? We’re predicting a bounce. First, the Cowboys always beat the New York Giants.

Second, the Giants were going to go up 3-0 but Dallas blocked the kick and ran it back for a TD. The Giants held the Cowboys to a field goal before DaRon Bland ran back an interception 22 yard for a TD. The G-Men didn’t give up physically, but mentally, they were done. So the final score is inflated. The Jets return the Boys to earth.
