It’s much too early to tell if what we saw in Week 1 was a sign of things to come or merely a blip on the radar. We saw a lot of upsets in the opening week, but whether that carries over remains to be seen. For me, it means being a little more cautious in the next round of games until things settle into a definite pattern. That said, we can always expect to see upsets across the league, although perhaps not at the rate at which they were delivered in the first weekend of the season. For now, let’s put together some NFL Betting parlay picks and try to win some money.
NFL Week 2: Best Parlay Picks that Could Make you Win
NFL Week 2 SU Parlay – Rams, Buccaneers, Packers
It was a tough opening week for the defending Super Bowl champions, with the Rams seeing their party crashed by the Buffalo Bills. Things get a little easier this weekend at home to the Falcons. Look for the champs to bounce back big.
While both the Buccaneers and Saints came away with wins in Week 1, you have to say that neither were particularly pretty. That aside, the Buccaneers and now 8-2 in the money line in their last 10 and I like them to win a tight one.
It was not a very good week for the Packers in Week 1, as they misfired pretty badly against the Vikings. It’s too early to call their Week 2 game against the Bears a must win but going 0-2 in divisional play is not ideal. I like the Packers to bounce back.
NFL Week 2 ATS Parlay – Bengals (-8), Lions (-2 ½). Giants (-2 ½)
There were several surprises in Week 1, including the Bengals, a Super Bowl team from last season, losing at home to a divisional rival. They will be looking to bounce back in Week 2 against a wounded Dallas Cowboys squad, which I think they do.
The Detroit Lions may have lost their season opener, but they were very competitive, losing 38-35 to a vey good Eagles team. This week, the Lions, who have been money ATS at home, host the Commanders, and I think they win and cover.
I never thought I would see myself putting the Lions and Giants on the same parlay ticket, but her we are. The Giants delivered another surprise in Week 1, coming from behind to beat Tennessee. I think they win again versus the Panthers.
NFL Week 2 O/U Parlay – Vikings (051), Patriots (U40 ½), Seahawks (U42 ½)
While their 38-35 win over the Detroit Lions was closer than most people expected, the Eagles offense looked very good. They have seen their last 5 home games go OVER, and I think we can expect more of the same versus the Vikings.
The Patriots and Steelers was, for quite some time, one of the glamor AFC matchups. It may have lost some of that shine in recent weeks, but it’s still a big game. Two offenses still in the growing phase, so the UNDER looks good here.
With the 49ers and Seahawks, we are watching a pair of teams try to adapt to life with new QBs under center. The early results for both were mixed, but the common thread was that offense was slim in Week 1. I think it’ll be the same this week.
