It’s time to start looking ahead at the National Football League. The National Football League does not see its first games of the season until early September, but what the heck, it’s time to start placing some bets. Best NFL Week 1 Teaser Bets

First, let’s explain how a teaser bet works. If you are not familiar, these are fun bets that you can make, and keep you involved with the National Football League. A teaser bet is a group of straight bets that combine two or more bets into one. Each line is shifted into your favor by the number of points in the teaser. The three main NFL teasers are 6, 6.5 and 7 points. You can also grab 10 point and 13 point teasers in the National Football League as well. For a 6, 6.5 or 7 point teaser, you must have a minimum of 2 teams, while with 10 you need 3, and a 13 point needs a minimum of 4.

Carolina Panthers vs Denver Broncos

Now, for the Week 1 Teaser Bets — the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos – the rematch of the Super Bowl of last season. The Panthers are just a 1 point favorite, but are on the road. The Panthers are the favorite, because at least they have quarterback, while, the Broncos have several questions. This is a great teaser bet, because this is going to be a competitive game to start the season. Using the -6 point spread for teaser bets, the first bet to make is the Denver Broncos +7 over the Carolina Panthers.

San Diego Chargers vs Kansas City Chiefs

Staying with the -6 point spread for the teaser bets, take the San Diego Chargers and use those points. They take on their divisional rival the Kansas City Chiefs. While Kansas City should win this game, the point spread already seems pretty high. The Chiefs are favored by 6.5 points, with the teaser, you can grab Phillip Rivers and the Chargers on the road and grab them at +12.5. Take San Diego and all those points in Week 1 over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Houston Texans vs Chicago Bears

The third best teaser bet for Week 1 is the Houston Texans. The Texans are going to win the Chicago Bears at home, but by how much. The Texans are -4, and therefore putting them at -10 would be a great choice for bettors. The Houston Texans are using Brock Osweiler in his first game with the team. Look for him to be sharp. Jay Cutler is the quarterback on the other side of this teaser. You just never know what you are going to get with Jay.
