The Good – These guys are on fire heading into Week 14!

  • No. 1 Patrick Mahomes

While Mahomes had a modest 318-yard one touchdown performance against Denver on Sunday, the 2018 league MVP ranks first in passing yards (3,815), third in TD passes (31) and first in fewest interceptions for a quarterback that has made at least three starts.

  • No. 2 Deshaun Watson

While Watson had an underwhelming no-touchdown, one-interception effort against Indianapolis on Sunday, Watson ranks second to Mahomes in passing yardage, fourth in passer rating (111.0) and sixth in completion percentage (68.8%). Prior to Sunday, Watson had thrown 15 TD passes and no picks in Houston’s previous six games. While he has to do almost everything by himself, make no mistake about it, Deshaun Watson is a star of the highest caliber!

  • No. 3 Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers burned Philly for 295 passing yards with three touchdown passes and no picks in Sunday’s 30-16 win. The future Hall of Famer has thrown seven TD passes and no picks the last two weeks while throwing at least three TD passes in three straight games.

  • No. 4 Kirk Cousins

Say what you want about the oft-maligned 32-year-old, but right now Kirk Cousins is ‘balling out’ for Minnesota. The Vikings have won two straight and five of its last six with Cousins throwing 15 TD passes and only two interceptions during the stretch. Cousins heads into Week 14 riding a three-game streak of tossing three touchdown passes.

  • No. 5 Josh Allen

Buffalo’s third-year franchise quarterback burned San Francisco for 375 yards with four TD tosses and no interceptions on Monday night to bring his season total to 26 TD passes and only eight interceptions. Buffalo looks dangerous and Allen is still blossoming.

  • No. 6 Taysom Hill

Sure, the 30-year-old Hill is never going to be quite the passer that Drew Brees is, but he’s been rock-solid in leading New Orleans to three straight wins while passing for over 230 yards in two games while adding at least 49 rushing yards in all three contests. More importantly, Hill has only thrown one interception in three starts.

  • No. 7 Alex Smith

The now, 36-year-old former top overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft is playing phenomenal football heading into Week 14. Smith passed for 296 yards and one touchdown while playing mistake-free football in Washington’s stunning 23-17 win over previously unbeaten Pittsburgh on Monday.

  • No. 8 Baker Mayfield

While the Browns are clearly a run-first team that features Nick Chub and Kareem Hunt as their primary weapons, Mayfield makes the ‘good’ list heading into Week 14 after torching Tennessee for 354 yards with four TD passes – and no interceptions in Cleveland’s 41-35 upset win on Sunday.

The Bad – Each of these quarterbacks is struggling heading into Week 14.

  • Ben Roethlisberger

Big Ben passed for 305 yards and two touchdowns in Pittsburgh’s 23-17 upset loss against Washington on Monday, but he also threw an interception for the third straight game. Roethlisberger isn’t playing well which is why the Steelers have been held to 19 points or less in two straight heading into Week 14.

  • Lamar Jackson

Baltimore has dropped two straight with the reigning MVP tossing an interception in both losses. Jackson has been limited to 186 passing yards or less in six of Baltimore’s last seven games while throwing six interceptions against just seven TD passes during the stretch. Jackson has only rushed for over 100 yards once this season and looks like a guy that needs to get better quickly in order for the Ravens to keep their playoff hopes alive.

  • Russell Wilson

Wilson has been limited to 263 passing yards or less in three straight games. Wilson has thrown interceptions in three of Seattle’s last five games and guess what? Each contest turned out to be a loss.

The Ugly – There’s no other way to say it, but these guys are costing their respective teams victories!

  • Carson Wentz

I’d like to defend the 30-year-old second overall pick in the 2016 draft, but then he opens his mouth and says something stupid after every loss. Wentz completed just 6 of 15 passes for a pitiful 79 yards against Green Bay on Sunday while often looking flat-out scared while failing to deliver the ball to relatively open receivers. The Eagles franchise signal-caller has regressed in a big way and needs to be benched if the Birds want to hold on to their faint layoff hopes.

  • Tom Brady

Make no mistake about it, Tom Brady is playing some ugly football heading into Tampa Bay’s Week 14 home date against Minnesota. The future Hall of Fame signal-caller has thrown a pair of interceptions in two straight games (both losses) while tossing a mind-boggling seven picks over the Buccaneer’s last four games after tossing three picks against New Orleans in Week 10.  Brady had better get his act together quickly in order for the struggling Bucs to keep their playoff hopes alive.

  • Mitchell Trubisky

While Trubisky had a seemingly solid day by passing for 267 yards with one touchdown and no picks in Chicago‘s 34-30 home loss against Detroit on Sunday, he also lost a costly fumble  and is one of the ‘ugliest’ quarterbacks to ever be drafted in the first round of the draft.

  • Cam Newton

New England has won two straight and three of four heading into Week 14, but it’s not because the 2015 league MVP is playing at a high level. Newton passed for a mind-boggling 69 yards in Sunday’s blowout win over the Chargers one week after passing for just 84 yards in the Patriots‘ huge win over Arizona. The Patriots are on a bit of a roll right now, but Cam Newton’s play has been downright ugly!
