Parlay Picks For This Week’s Slate of NFL Games | Week 17 Betting Odds
Dallas Cowboys (-10) @ Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans have lost five games in a row. Their injury list is longer than Santa’s naughty list, Ryan Tannehill is out for the season, and now Derrick Henry is on the injury report. Other than all of that, things seem to be going well for the Titans. Even with a loss to the Cowboys on Thursday night, Tennessee can still win the AFC South with a win over Jacksonville in the season finale.
Tennessee knows that even if Jacksonville wins against Houston on Sunday, and the Titans lose, they can still win the division. So why would they want to take any chances against Dallas on a short week? We don’t think they’ll take those chances.
In Dallas’s case, they need this victory. They want to keep pace with the Eagles for the division title. If Dallas wins their final two games, and the Eagles lose theirs, the Cowboys can win the NFC East and more than likely gain home-field advantage in the NFC Playoffs.
We don’t see Dallas taking it easy on a battered Titans squad. Mike Vrabel should choose to rest Henry and the other injured starters. This is a meaningless game for Tennessee, so why would they choose to risk getting even more starters injured?
Tennessee will give this game to Dallas, and the Cowboys won’t have any issues taking it. Dallas wins this one big and covers the large spread.
Buffalo Bills (-1) @ Cincinnati Bengals
The Monday Night Football game could be one of the best games of the year. You have two of the top quarterbacks in the league squaring off, and there is a lot at stake in this one. A Cincinnati win could lead them to the top spot in the AFC Playoffs. Both teams are red-hot. The Bills are on a six-game winning streak, while the Bengals have won seven in a row.
With this one being in Cincinnati, we just have a hunch that the Bengals are going to come out fired up to make a statement. The Bengals win by a touchdown, and make things really complicated in the race for the top seed in the AFC Playoffs.
Denver Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs (-13)
While many think the Broncos will be better now that Nathaniel Hackett has been relieved of his head coaching duties, we’re not so sure about that. Denver is in such a state of disarray that their defensive coordinator didn’t even want to take the interim head coaching position when asked.
Russell Wilson has been one of the biggest disappointments in recent history. The potential Hall of Famer is playing like a journeyman backup quarterback. And unfortunately for Denver, they could be in for a few bad years, as they had to trade away a lot of draft capital to attain Wilson.
Enough about that; let’s talk about how good Kansas City is. They need this game to stay in the race for home-field advantage throughout the AFC Playoffs. We think Denver is ready to be done, and the Chiefs will beat them handily and cover the spread.
