Arizona Cardinals 2023 Season Home/Away Betting Guide

Arizona Cardinals 2023 Season Home/Away Betting Guide

After an incredible 2021, the Arizona Cardinals flubbed big time in 2022. This season, the Cards hope to bounce back. Based on their NFL Draft, Zona has a good chance of fielding a much improved defense. But although the D will be better in 2023 than it was last season, will the Cardinals get through a difficult schedule? See below for a team by team analysis of the Arizona Cardinals’ home and away schedule.

This is a brief betting Home/Away analysis of each of the Cardinals opponents for the 2023 season before the NFL betting lines to win the Super Bowl go out.

2023 Arizona Cardinals Home/Away Betting Analysis

Arizona Cardinals: 104th season in the NFL
Owner: Michael Bidwill
Head Coach: Jonathan Gannon
Home Field: State Farm Stadium | Glendale, Arizona

2023 Team-By-Team Analysis: Arizona Cardinals Home Games

Cardinals Home Games
Los Angeles Rams
San Francisco 49ers
Seattle Seahawks
Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants
Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Atlanta Falcons

Arizona’s defense should be much better this season than it was last season. The Cardinals spent two of their first three picks on outside linebacker BJ Ojulari and cornerback Garrett Williams.

Because the D should play better, we can expect the Cardinals to win at least three home games. First, the Card’s D was decent last season. It carried the team in plenty of games.

Second, the teams the Cardinals face at home aren’t world beaters. Atlanta will start Desmond Ridder at quarterback, Baltimore’s offense could be a disaster unless the Ravens provide Lamar Jackson legit receiving targets, and the Rams will be a mess on both sides of the ball.

The Cardinals should lose to the 49ers, Seahawks, Cowboys, Giants, and Bengals. That’s five losses.

San Francisco is a legit Super Bowl contender. The Niners are terrific on both sides of the ball. So if Brock Purdy continue to play well, SF will sweep the Cards.

The Seahawks can also sweep. The Hawks improved their defense in the draft. The Giants and Bengals have better rosters than the Cardinals.

Predicted Home Win/Loss Record: 3-5

2023 Team-By-Team Analysis: Arizona Cardinals Road Games

Cardinals Away Games
Washington Commanders
Pittsburgh Steelers
Cleveland Browns
Los Angeles Rams
Philadelphia Eagles
San Francisco 49ers
Seattle Seahawks
Chicago Bears
Houston Texans

The Cardinals could end up with a much better road record than home record. If we assume the Cards fall to the Niners, Seahawks, and Eagles, they will end up 6-3.

The Washington Commanders will be okay but not great. Sam Howell starts at quarterback this season for the Commanders. Howell could turn into a good quarterback, but it’s not guaranteed.

Pittsburgh will be tough to beat. Kenny Picket, the Steelers second year player, should be improved from his rookie season. But he may not be improved enough to lead Pittsburgh against the Cardinals’ good defense.

The Browns get hyped up all the time during the offseason. They never come through during the regular season. Arizona can upset the Browns.

The Rams are a mess, like we wrote above. The Bears and Texans won’t be easy wins. But Arizona’s roster is better overall.

Predicted Away Win/Loss Record: 6-3

Arizona Cardinals Predicted Win/Loss Record: 9-8
