NFL Week 2 Betting Rundown for the Best TNF, SNF, MNF Games of the 2022-23 Season
NFL Week 2
- When: Thursday, Sep. 15 – Monday, Sep. 19
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs -4 | Thursday, Sep. 15
Kansas City dominated the Arizona Cardinals 44-21 in week 1, which is the reason the betting line in this has already gone up from KC -3.5
But while the Chiefs dominated the Cardinals, the Chargers held off the Las Vegas Raiders, a division rival, in their first week game. The Bolts always play the Chiefs tough. The 4 points should matter in this.
NFL Week 2 Pick: Los Angeles Chargers +4
Carolina Panthers at New York Giants -2.5 | Sunday, Sep. 18
- When: 1:00pm ET
It took Baker Mayfield and the Panthers forever to get it going in their first game of the season. Once the Panthers did, Baker almost led Carolina to an improbable come from behind victory.
New Giants head coach Brian Daboll decided to go for 2 at the end of the game versus the Tennessee Titans. Daboll’s risk paid off with a Giants’ victory. NYG has the makings of a solid team. The G-Men should cover the spread.
NFL Week 2 Pick: New York Giants -2.5
Miami Dolphins +142 at Baltimore Ravens | Sunday, Sep. 18
- When: 1:00pm ET
So holding NYJ to 9 points is an okay performance but it isn’t a great performance. The Dolphins blasted rival New England 20-7. Miami looks like one of the better teams in the AFC. The Fins can win this straight up.
NFL Week 2 Pick: Miami Dolphins +142
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints +124 | Sunday, Sep. 18
- When: 1:00 P.M. ET
New Orleans provided one of the greatest comebacks in franchise history in week 1. Down by 16 points in the fourth quarter, the Saints rallied for an improbable 27-26 win over rival Atlanta.
Tampa dusted the Cowboys 19-3 in Dallas, which is the reason the Buccaneers are favorites heading to the Big Easy. But New Orleans has won 4 straight regular season games over Brady and the Bucs. The Saints get the money line upset.
NFL Week 2 Pick: New Orleans Saints +124
Atlanta Falcons at Los Angeles Rams -10.5 | Sunday, Sep. 18
- When: 4:00 P.M.
Marcus Mariota can still ball. More importantly, the Rams did not look good in their first game versus the Bills.
So unless you believe the Bills are that much better than every team in the league, the Rams could be in for a shocker. If you’re feeling lucky, back Marcus and the Falcons SU. 10.5 points make the ATL an overlay.
NFL Week 2 Pick: Atlanta Falcons +10.5
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers -10 | NFL Sunday Night Football
Aaron Rodgers completed 22-of-34 and threw a pick versus the rival Vikings. Green Bay’s defense gave up 23 points in a 23-7 loss.
Chicago isn’t better than Green Bay. But the Bears head into this after upsetting the 49ers on the money line in week 1. Also, Rodgers won’t find a WR1 in 7 days. Take the points.
NFL Week 2 Pick: Chicago Bears +10
Tennessee Titans at Buffalo Bills -10 | NFL Monday Night Football
Buffalo played great against the Rams, but the Titans have something the Rams don’t, a legit rushing attack. Yes, Tennessee blew the game against the Giants.
But this is 10 points and the Bills play after thumping the rushing attack-less Rams. Derrick Henry will keep Buffalo’s D honest, chew up clock, and help the Titans keep this close until the final few minutes.
NFL Week 2 Pick: Tennessee Titans +10
Minnesota Vikings +108 at Philadelphia Eagles | NFL Monday Night Football
Detroit almost upset the Eagles in Philadelphia’s first game of the season. The key in this one is whether Philly’s D can handle Kevin O’Connell’s brilliant offensive play-calling.
Minnesota has the better overall offense because the Vikings’ have a strong rushing attack and a great passing attack. The Eagles are a rush first team. So O’Connell and Minnesota have the SU edge.
NFL Week 2 Pick: Minnesota Vikings +108
