There are now just 3 weeks left in the NFL regular season and we are starting to see teams either clinch a playoff spot or get officially eliminated. There are still a ton of teams who are stuck in the middle, although we will likely see some more spots on either side filled this weekend. There are a lot of games that have playoff implications, so plenty of big games to wager on. The weekend is also a little longer than usual, as we have a pair of games set to go on Saturday. There is a lot of ground to cover this week, so let’s jump right in and make our picks against the spread for Week 15 of the NFL season and then you can place your bets against their NFL odds.
Week 15 ATS Picks for the 2020 Season | NFL Betting
Buffalo Bills (-6 ½) at Denver Broncos
The race for the #1 seed in the AFC is beginning to heat up. The Kansas City Chiefs still look like the favorites to land the top spot and the opening round bye, but the Buffalo Bills closed the gap with their win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend. The Bills will be on the road on Saturday looking to avoid a letdown against the 5-8 Denver Broncos. It’s never an easy place to go and get a win, but the Bills have had some real success versus the Broncos in previous meetings. They have in fact covered the spread in each of their last 6 meetings with the Broncos. Denver is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games versus conference foes, but I think they come up short in this one.
Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers (-8 ½)
It looked for a while as though the New Orleans Saints were going to be the team to take the #1 seed in the NFC, but they lost their grip on the top spot last weekend after a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Green Bay Packers have moved into the #1 spot now, but there is no guarantee that they are going to stay there for the next 3 weeks. They will try to keep rolling when they host the struggling Carolina Panthers this weekend at Lambeau Field. While the Panthers have just 1 win in their last 8 games, they have covered the spread in each of their last 5 road games. The Packers, though, are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 versus teams from the south, while also going 7-3 ATS in their last 10 versus teams from the NFC. I like the Packers to win and cover here.
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (-7)
The Indianapolis Colts are very quietly making a move in the AFC, winning 4 of their last 5 games to get to 9-4 on the season. As good as they have been, they are still sitting behind the Tennessee Titans in the AFC due to a tiebreaker. For the Colts, this will be their second meeting in three weeks with the Houston Texans. They won on the road a couple of weeks ago, heading home with a 27-20 win. That bodes well for them doing the double this weekend in their own building. The Colts have covered the spread in each of their last 5 meetings with a Texans team that is just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games overall.
