Over recent history, several franchises have shaped the playoff picture in the NFC. The conference’s champion from last season, the Philadelphia Eagles, has been central to many of those most heated ones. Over the past six seasons, Philadelphia has won a Super Bowl and played for another. With another season quickly approaching, the Eagles may have the conference’s hottest rivalry going.
Here’s a look at the best games with bad blood in the NFL’s NFC. While things appear to be bleak for the South Division, there are plenty of other hot matchups that will be available
MyBookie offers a week-by-week NFL schedule so you can take a look at the NFC rivalry games and start planning those NFL bets throughout the season.

2023 NFL Kickoff Game: September 7, 2023
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys
When: Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 4:25 pm ET | Week 9
Where: Lincoln Financial Field | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
When: Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 8:20 pm ET | SNF | Week 14
Where: AT&T Stadium | Arlington, Texas
The NFC East is always full of games riddled with bad blood and long history. Dallas leads the all-time series 73-55, not including the Cowboys’ 3-1 edge in postseason meetings, and has been one of the few teams to beat the Eagles consistently recently. Dallas has won four of the six meetings between the teams since the 2020 season.
The Cowboys and Eagles split the two meetings between the teams last season. It was hard to judge either meeting because Philadelphia beat Dallas in a game where Dak Prescott didn’t start, while the Cowboys beat the Eagles when Jalen Hurts didn’t play.
The Cowboys and Eagles will be among the top contenders to win the division and be the NFC’s representative in the Super Bowl again this season.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks
When: Sunday, November 23, 2023 at 8:20 pm ET | Thanksgiving | Week 12
Where: Lumen Field | Seattle, Washington
When: Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 4:05 pm ET | Week 14
Where: Levi’s Stadium | Santa Clara, California
The 49ers and Seahawks were in a similar situation last season. San Francisco and Seattle both used quarterbacks that had been overlooked or undervalued to make the playoffs. The 49ers hope not to have to lean on Brock Purdy again this season. The Seahawks will look to lean on veteran Geno Smith.
Smith played well last season and was able to help Seattle transition away from the Russell Wilson era by making the playoffs last season. Seattle leads the all-time series between the two teams 30-20. The 49ers won all three meetings between the two teams last season, including a 41-23 decision in the NFC Wild Card.
The Seahawks have led the series 4-3 since 2020.

New York Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles
When: Monday, December 25, 2023 at 4:30 pm ET | Week 16
Where: Lincoln Financial Field | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
TV / Streaming: FOX
The hottest rivalries in the NFC seem to all be simmering in the East Division right now. The Eagles and Giants have one of the closest rivalries in league history. Philadelphia leads the all-time series 93-88-2, with the Eagles holding a 3-2 edge in the playoffs.
During the last meeting between the two teams, Philadelphia handed New York a 38-7 smackdown in the Divisional round of the NFC playoffs. The Giants found success under first-year coach Brian Daboll last season. New York is hoping Daniel Jones can continue to progress as a quarterback.
Philadelphia will want to prove it can dominate the NFC for the second year in a row. Continuing to beat up the Giants will be a sign of how much staying power they have as a franchise.
