NFL Week 18 Parlay Picks & Lines for this Week’s Betting Games

The final week of the NFL regular season is always a difficult week to wager on. With some teams eliminated from playoff contention, others maybe resting their starters, and some playing in must-win situations, things can be difficult to get a handle on. In looking at this week’s slate of games, we find many teams that are desperate for a win in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. We will now take a look at some games that we think we have a good handle on so you can go ahead and bet against their NFL Odds. If you want to put these in a parlay, we think you can walk away with a nice sum of money.

Dallas Cowboys (-6) @ Washington Commanders

The NFC East title, along with the top spot in the NFC Playoffs, is still up for grabs. If the Cowboys win against Washington, and the Philadelphia Eagles lose to the New York Giants, Dallas wins the NFC East. If this same scenario happens, along with a San Francisco loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas clinches home-field advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs.

In looking at this game, after last week’s debacle, the Washington Commanders know that their season is over. Ron Rivera decided to replace the popular Taylor Heinicke with former starter Carson Wentz. Wentz came out and threw three interceptions, and the Commanders lost to a bad Cleveland Browns team. Even with the Washington defense playing well, it wasn’t enough to beat Cleveland.

As for the Cowboys, they know that they have to win this one, and they’re playing against a team that has nothing to play for. The Commanders are disappointed on how their season ended, and we don’t expect to see many fights from Washington. Dallas knows that they need to have a good showing, and we look for them to beat Washington by at least two touchdowns.

Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers (-4.5)

Just a few weeks ago, neither one of these teams looked like they had a shot at making the playoffs. With both teams now being 8-8, this game is now a fight for the seventh and final NFC playoff spot. With a Packers win, they clinch the final Wild Card spot. If Detroit wins, they also need the Los Angeles Rams to defeat the Seattle Seahawks.

While Detroit has one of the top offenses in the NFL, and has been very good over the past few weeks, we think this is the week that the ever-improving Green Bay defense shines. Green Bay’s rushing defense has been very good over the past three weeks. The Packers are only giving up an average of 85 yards per game on the ground.

We haven’t even mentioned Aaron Rodgers yet. He has been a huge factor in Green Bay’s surge. While he was downright awful for much of the season, the Rodgers of old has reappeared over the past few weeks. He will be going up against a Detroit defense that is one of the worst in the league.

While we see this one being tight for much of the game, the Packers will score a late touchdown to pull away from Detroit. Green Bay wins by seven, thus covering the spread and making it into the playoffs.
