Friday, December 1, 7:30 PM ET at ESPN | The battle for top spot in the Eastern Conference is a tight one, with the top 4 teams separated by just 2 games. It is the Boston Celtics, who currently have the most wins in the league (14) who have the lead, but they have to be feeling the others breathing down their neck. The Philadelphia 76ers are in that group of 4, and while they are certainly close to the top, they have cooled off a little over the past few weeks, going just 5-5 in their last 10 games. The 76ers have been good on the road, going 5-3 to this point, but they will be up against a Celtics team that is a perfect 8-0 at home. Can the Phillies end that unbeaten run?

Denver Nuggets at Sacramento Kings

Saturday, December 2, 10:00 PM ET at NBA TV | We have the Eastern Conference covered on Friday night, so let’s head on over to the West for a big game on Saturday evening. The defending champion Denver Nuggets have struggled at times this season, but they appear to be coming good of late and are currently on a 3-game winning streak that has them all the way up to 2nd in the conference. They are just 4-6 on the road, though, and have a tricky road trip to Sacramento this weekend to face the Kings, who are down in the #6 slot after winning 7 of their last 10 games. The Kings are a solid 5-2 in their own building and are going to be very tough to knock off.

They will be looking to bounce back on the road, where they have been very strong, going 6-2 thus far. The Mavericks have the exact same 11-6 record, and while they are coming off a win, they have been playing .500 ball over the least 10 games. Dallas has been tough to beat in their own building, going 5-2 to this point, so this one looks like a very good matchup indeed.
