Brooklyn Nets at Atlanta Hawks

We start things out with a matchup between a pair of teams currently situated in the play-in zone in the Eastern Conference. The Nets are a game ahead of the Hawks and have been playing better ball of late, winning 6 of their last 10 games. During that same stretch, Atlanta has won just 4 games and are now clinging to the final spot in the play-in zone. Atlanta has struggled at home and currently sit a couple of games below .500 in their own building, which has been much the same story for the Nets on the road. Something has to give here, and the Hawks might well need the win to avoid slipping below the playoff line.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Houston Rockets

It is the Minnesota Timberwolves who have opened a 2-game lead at the top of the Western Conference, but there are a few teams within striking distance. The Oklahoma City Thunder are certainly in that group and they are in great form at the moment, winning 2 in a row and 8 of their last 10 games. The Thunder have been brilliant on the road, winning 7 of 9, so it is going to be tough for the Rockets to take advantage of being at home for this one. That said, this is a team that has been close to impossible to knock off in their own building, going 8-1 in their home games this season. All of that makes this one an intriguing matchup.

Denver Nuggets at LA Clippers

After spending some time at the top of the Western Conference, the Denver Nuggets have hit a bit of a rough patch and have been playing .500 ball over the last 10 games. They need something to jumpstart their season again, and perhaps a win on the road against the Clippers might help. While Denver has been perfect at home, they are just 5-7 on the road, so there is zero guarantee of a win here. The Clippers are still a game below .500 overall, but they have been better of late, winning 6 of their last 10 games. They have been tough to beat in their own building, going 6-3 through their opening 9 home games.
