The countdown to the start of the 2022 NFL season is now well and truly on, with the opening of training camps and the start of preseason games just around the corner. It’s time for fans to start getting excited, as we are starting to see every team take shape ahead of the new season. There are still some potential big trades out there waiting to happen, but for the most part, squads are set and the battle for spots is about to commence. With that in mind, we know who the favorites to win the Super Bowl are, with the Baltimore Ravens somewhat in the conversation. We are going to look at the current NFL Lines for the Ravens in a few different areas to determine if they are a good bet or one to pass on.
Ravens 2022 Season NFL Betting Guide to Help You Bet On Their Odds
Ravens 2022 Win Total
A promising 2021 season ended up turning into a total nightmare for the Baltimore Ravens. They came out the gate strong, but an injury to Lamar Jackson derailed them along the way. They closed out the season with 6 straight losses, falling to a disappointing 8-9 on the season, which meant that they missed out on the playoffs. This year, the bookies expect better, as the Ravens win total for the season is set at 9 ½. They have what looks to be a pretty favorable schedule in 2022, and if they can stay healthy, there is no reason why they cannot get into double-digit wins this coming season.
Ravens Division and Conference Odds
The AFC North has always been one of the toughest divisions in football, but heading into the new season there are some question marks. The Cleveland Browns are embroiled in a circus of their own making after signing DeShaun Watson, who could potentially be suspended for the year, while the Steelers are in a bit of a transition phase with a new QB. The Bengals look to build on a season that took them to the Super Bowl, and they look to be the biggest threat to the Ravens in the North. Baltimore are slight favorites at +173 and are certainly worth taking a shot on.
As far as winning the conference goes, I am not so sure that they are the team you want to be wagering on. There are 4 teams ahead of them on the bookies board, with the Ravens in at odds of +970 at the moment. For me, the Bills look like the team to beat, so I would be wary about throwing money at the Baltimore Ravens to win the AFC.
The Super Bowl
With Lamar Jackson under center, the Ravens have been very good in the regular season, but that has not carried over into the playoffs. With his injury last year, there are now some concerns about Jackson’s durability, which always ends up seeming to become a concern with running QBs. If the Ravens can win the division and get a decent seeding in the playoffs, you just never know what might happen. That said, at odds of +1975 to win the Super Bowl, they have to be considered a real dark horse.
