The Baltimore Ravens are certainly in one of those groups and look like a team that is getting better as the season progresses. The Cardinals have been better than we thought they might be, but the results are still going as expected. These two teams will meet up in Glendale this Sunday afternoon, and it is the Ravens who are in as the expected favorite for this one. Up until that point, you have to say that their schedule has been more than a little favorable, so getting a win like that against a team that is almost certainly playoff bound was something of an eye opener. The question now is whether they will continue to play that way or play down to the level of their opponent this weekend. The Ravens have won 5 of their last 6 meetings with Arizona, while also covering the spread in 5 of their last 6 road games overall. The UNDER has hit in 7 of their last 8 versus teams from the NFC South.

At 1-6, the Cardinals are essentially where we all believed they would be at this stage of the season. That said, this team has been a good deal more competitive than expected, but they have found it impossible to sustain a high level of play through an entire game and have tended to fall apart in the final quarter. A big part of their problem has been their inability to put points on the board on a consistent basis, which has shown up in their last 2 games, where they managed a total of just 19 points. The Ravens will have definitely seen the Ravens humble the Cowboys in a shock result earlier this season, so I’m not entirely counting out Arizona here. They are, though, still a tough team to wager on after winning just 2 of their last 17 at home and going 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games. The OVER has hit in 4 of their last 6 overall.
