When the Eagles drafted Hurts, there were a lot of people who believed that he would be a bust. They have been proven wrong, though, with Hurts delivering a brilliant season in 2022, with the promise of much more still to come. This is a guy who is a legitimate double threat, as he can hurt the opposition through the air and on the ground. The Eagles lost 3 games in the regular season in 2022, but only one of those came when Hurts was the starter, which should give you an idea of just how valuable he is to this team.

Given his lack of success in the postseason, there are some who would not consider Prescott to be among the elite QB ranks. If he is not at the elite level, which I don’t believe he is at the moment, he is certainly not far off the pace. Injuries have hampered Prescott a little over the last couple of season, but he is coming into 2023 fresh and ready to go. If he does have a mediocre season and the Cowboys once again fail to make an impact in the postseason, you wonder how long he might stay in Dallas.

The Commanders have been one of the jokes of the league for as long as anyone can remember, but with a new ownership group in place, that might be about to change. That level of change does not happen overnight, though, so we might see them struggle for another year or two before their ship starts turning. This is a team that has had 10 different starting QBs over the last 4 seasons, with Sam Howell, assuming he beats out Jacoby Brissett for the job, the man currently leading the offense. He has a long way to go to match the top QBs in this division.
