Betting Week 12 NFL Games

Huge NFL QB duels dot the week 12 schedule.

Perhaps, none is bigger than Bryce Purdy leading the 49ers to Lambeau Field to take on Jordan Love and the Packers.

Both Green Bay and San Francisco are fighting for playoff spots.

Also in NFL Week 12, Jalen Hurts and the high flying Eagles head to SoFi to take on Matthew Stafford and the Rams and Justin Herbert and the Bolts host Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

Writer’s NFL Quarterback Picks for the Week 12 Matchups

Pittsburgh – Russell Wilson at Cleveland – Jameis Winston

Thursday, November 21st, 2024

When Winston is on, he can light up the scoreboard.

The former Heisman Trophy winner continues to have a cannon for an arm.

But Winston has always been a gambler.

That will backfire on Thursday versus the stout Pittsburgh D.

Russell Wilson has been electric since taking over the playoff bound Steelers.

The Pittsburgh offense has gotten into a rhythm.

Russ wins this battle.

NFL Week 12 QB Pick: Russell Wilson

Minnesota – Sam Darnold at Chicago – Caleb Williams

Sunday, November 24th, 2024

Caleb Williams and the Bears started the season 4-2 but since then the wheels have fallen off the wagon.

After completing over 79% of his passes versus the Jags, Caleb completed less than 42% in a loss to the Commanders and less than 54% in losses to the Cardinals and Patriots.

Sam Darnold is no longer an MVP candidate like he was earlier in the season.

But Darnold will play enough to outduel Williams in this.

Back Darnold in any head to head betting option.

NFL Week 12 QB Pick: Sam Darnold

San Francisco – Bryce Purdy at Green Bay – Jordan Love

Sunday, November 24th, 2024

Purdy versus Love should be a terrific matchup.

Two of the youngest starting quarterbacks in the league have plenty of weapons that will help them thrive in this game.

Love has the advantage because this happens at Lambeau.

Also, Jordan doesn’t have a running back like Christian McCaffrey on which to lean.

The 49ers should leave Green Bay with a victory but Love will post the better stats.

NFL Week 12 QB Pick: Jordan Love

Arizona – Kyler Murray at Seattle – Geno Smith

Sunday, November 24th, 2024

If the playoffs started today, the NFC West division winner would be the Arizona Cardinals.

Projected as one of this season’s worst teams.

The reason AZ is a playoff contender, and, maybe, even a conference contender is because of Kyler Murray.

The diminutive QB is showing he’s got a lot of great football left.

Murray has single handedly taken over games this NFL season ala Lamar Jackson.

Smith could get roughed up by a solid Arizona defense.

Murray wins the matchup.

NFL Week 12 QB Pick: Kyler Murray

Philadelphia – Jalen Hurts at LAR – Matthew Stafford

Sunday, November 24th, 2024

Hurts and the Eagles are on fire.

Since a loss to the Buccaneers in NFL Week 4, Hurts and the Eagles have won 6 straight.

No victory was as important as the NFL Week 11 victory over Philly’s top competition for the NFC East title, the Washington Commanders.

The Philadelphia D held Jayden Daniels and the Commanders to 18 points.

Stafford and the Rams will struggle to keep pace.

Jalen gets it done.

NFL Week 12 QB Pick: Jalen Hurts

Monday, November 25

Baltimore – Lamar Jackson at LAC – Justin Herbert

Monday, November 25th, 2024

Lamar Jackson versus Justin Herbert should be an interesting quarterback matchup but the styles that the two teams play ensures Lamar wins the QB battle.

Jackson must have a good game in this one for Baltimore to get the W.

The Bolts boast a terrific run defense.

No doubt Derrick Henry will have a decent game.

But DH won’t take over the game.

Herbert and the Chargers run a methodical offense that keeps the ball in their hands.

Jackson wins the battle but don’t be surprised if the Bolts pull off the home upset victory.

NFL Week 12 QB Pick: LA Chargers

NFL Week 12 QB Matchups Betting Preview, Odds & Picks for Every Game

Previous Betting News

We’ve made it to Week 12. It’s now time to take a look at the quarterback matchup for each game, and we’ll give you our early NFL Betting predictions.

Who’ll Win the Quarterback Matchups in Week 12? | NFL Lines & Betting Predictions

Buffalo Bills @ Detroit Lions (+10)

Buffalo will return to Detroit for their second straight game at Ford Field. Josh Allen played well there on Sunday. Jared Goff has the Lions on a three-game winning streak.

Unfortunately for the Lions, the streak will end on Thursday. Buffalo wins but won’t cover.

New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys (-8)

After seeing what Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys did to the Minnesota Vikings, the Giants should be scared. New York is a good team, and Daniel Jones has done well in Brian Daboll’s system.

Dallas will shut down Saquon Barkley and will win this one easily while covering the spread.

New England Patriots @ Minnesota Vikings (-3)

It’s a prime-time game, and Kirk Cousins tends to struggle in prime time. We don’t think that will be the case on Thanksgiving night.

Mac Jones has struggled, and we could see Bailey Zappe. The Vikings rebound after the drubbing they took from Dallas. The Vikings win and cover.

Houston Texans @ Miami Dolphins (-12)

Tua Tagovailoa has the Miami offense firing on all cylinders. While the Miami defense is still a work in progress, we don’t think Davis Mills will get much done against it. Go with Miami to cover.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Tennessee Titans (+1.5)

Joe Burrow should have his favorite weapon back, as Ja’Marr Chase is scheduled to return. We don’t know if Joe Mixon will be ready, though.

Ryan Tannehill will hand the ball off to Derrick Henry a lot in this one. Cincinnati beats Tennessee by a field goal.

Baltimore Ravens @ Jacksonville Jaguars (+4.5)

Trevor Lawrence is capable of having a great game at any time. Lamar Jackson hasn’t been running as much as of late, but that could all change. Baltimore wins the game but doesn’t cover.

Atlanta Falcons @ Washington Commanders (-3)

Taylor Heinicke has brought winning back to Washington. Marcus Mariota will be without one of his top targets for the rest of the season as Kyle Pitts will require knee surgery. Washington wins by double digits.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Cleveland Browns (+3)

It’s time for the Tom Brady resurgence. The days are numbered for Jacoby Brissett. Tampa Bay by a touchdown.

Denver Broncos @ Carolina Panthers (+2.5)

I don’t know how we can trust Russell Wilson, even against a poor Panthers team. That means we’re going to trust Baker Mayfield. Panthers win.

Chicago Bears @ New York Jets (-4)

We’re not sure if Justin Fields will play on Sunday. We’re also not sure how much longer Zach Wilson will be starting for the Jets. The Jets win by a touchdown.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Seattle Seahawks (-3.5)

We may be seeing the last few games of Derek Carr in a Raiders uniform. Geno Smith has been one of the biggest surprises in the league this season.

Seattle didn’t look good the last time out, and that was because the Bucs stifled Kenneth Walker III. If he plays well, look out. Seattle wins but doesn’t cover.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Arizona Cardinals (+3)

Will Kyler Murray return for this one? After Arizona was drubbed by the Niners, we’re not sure if they’ll rebound well from that one. Justin Herbert played well in a heartbreaking loss to the Chiefs. We like the Chargers to win and cover.

Los Angeles Rams @ Kansas City Chiefs (-14)

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs just keep on winning, even when he loses some of his weapons. The season can’t get over soon enough for Matthew Stafford and the Rams. KC wins, but won’t cover.

New Orleans Saints @ San Francisco 49ers (-8)

While Andy Dalton has played well for the Saints, he won’t play well enough to beat the surging Niners. Jimmy Garoppolo threw four touchdown passes in a Monday night romp over the Cardinals. Look for Garoppolo and the Niners to keep on rolling. Niners by two touchdowns.

Green Bay Packers @ Philadelphia Eagles (-6.5)

Is this the end of the road for Aaron Rodgers? Without Dallas Goedert, Jalen Hurts loses one of his biggest weapons. Philadelphia wins, but won’t cover.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Indianapolis Colts (-2.5)

Kenny Pickett has endured a lot of growing pains as a rookie. Jeff Saturday has brought some life to the Colts.

Inserting Matt Ryan back into the lineup may have helped. Indy wins this Monday night clunker by a field goal.
