Now, picking out the best games of this particular week is a bit of a crapshoot, as some games that we believe might be important right now might in fact have zero bearing on the playoffs once the season actually begins. 2023 NFL Week 16 | December 21-25, 2023

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers

This game is set for Saturday and is in as a must bet because I think the AFC North is going to be a whole lot tighter than some people expect. The Bengals are the favorites to win the division, with the Steelers considered to be bottom of the pack, but I think Pittsburgh might be a bit of a surprise package this season. I believe that there is a very good chance that this game will have playoff implications, even if that means that the Steelers are battling for a Wild Card spot. Plus, AFC North matchups are just always fun to watch.

Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings

Last season, the Vikings took the NFC North with a 13-4 record, with the Lions finishing 2nd in the division and just out of the playoffs after a late run. This should be a good divisional battle, and one that might well decide who takes the division.

I am putting this in as a must bet game for now, but I do have some reservations about the Dolphins this season, specifically with the health of Tua Tagovailoa. If he is unable to stay healthy and, on the field, then this game might end up being nothing more than an opportunity for the Cowboys to pad their stats. Right now, it looks like one of the better games on the Week 16 schedule.

Baltimore Ravens at San Francisco 49ers

This one is the final game of Week 16 and is the perfect way to end your Christmas Day. Both of these teams are expected to be playoff bound this season, with many believing that both could be vying for the top spot in their respective conferences. While both teams may actually have clinched a playoff berth this late in the season, there is a possibility that seeding will come into play, so look for both of these teams to be making one final push in the waning weeks of the season.
