Not only that, but Michael Thomas should be one-hundred percent healthy this season. In addition, the defense could be better with the addition of Khalen Saunders on the defensive line. If Trevor Penning turns into the left tackle many believe he’ll be, N’Awlins is going to roll.

Washington Commanders
Second-year QB Sam Howell has the tools to be a great NFL signal-caller. He’s got a high football IQ.
The offensive line is good. Terry McLaurin is developing into one of the NFL’s best wide receivers and Brian Robinson Jr. is a handful at running back. So the Commanders’ offense should be much improved from last season.
Chase Young should be healthy in 2023. If Young doesn’t suffer any injuries, the defense will be one of the best in the league. Ron Rivera is a master defensive coach and few teams boast defensive linemen like Daron Payne, Jonathan Allen, and Montez Sweat.

Denver Broncos
Denver signed Sean Payton to coach. Also, John Elway is no longer with the team since his contract ran out on April 5.
No Elway means the team belongs to Payton. The former New Orleans head coach has already banned Russell Wilson’s personal coach from practice. Payton has been clear that if Russ doesn’t step up his game, Sean will look elsewhere.
That alone should light a fire under Wilson’s derriere. The WR room is loaded and Javonte Williams is a good running back if he can stay healthy.
The Broncos’ defense will play above its talent level this season because Vance Joseph has returned as the defensive coordinator. Payton is hands off when it comes to the defense. So Joseph will be able to run the schemes that helped him become a head coach in the NFL earlier in his career.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Kenny Pickett will blossom in his second season. Pittsburgh’s rookie quarterback in 2022, Pickett showed flashes of being the Steelers’ next great QB.
The key will be Pittsburgh’s offensive line. If it develops into a top NFL unit, the Steelers’ offense will score a lot of points. Najee Harris is already one of the league’s top running backs. So if the offensive line gets it together, watch out.
As always, Mike Tomlin’s defense will be one of the best in the league. It doesn’t matter who plays for Pittsburgh on D. Tomlin always gets the unit to perform above expectations.

Chicago has three picks in the top 30 at this month’s NFL Draft. Because the Bears signed linebacker Tremaine Edmunds from Buffalo, Chi-Town doesn’t have to use all three picks on defense.

D’Onta Foreman can post Derrick Henry type stats. He just never got the chance to be the workhorse in an offense. The Bears could go from worst to first this season.
