Ancelotti and Real land Mbappe but Endrick Might Be the Real Star

Even with the addition of Kylian Mbappe, arguably the best soccer player in the world, Real Madrid is second choice to Manchester City.

The thinking is that Man City rises back to the top of the UCL.

The Citizens will be good, but Carlo Ancelotti and Real, the defending champs, are sure to make an impression.

18 year old Brazilian soccer phenom Endrick made his debut in a friendly loss to AC Milan.

The 18 year old has blazing speed and incredible turn of foot. He can turn and go with the ball in less than a second.

Although he had just a single shot, he impress the boss.

Adding Endrick to a forwards room that includes Mbappe, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Junior tells us that Real hasn’t sat around this summer.

Ancelotti and Real are looking for a repeat CL title.

Young players like Endrick may help them get there.

Barca eyeing Dani Olmo After Nico Williams Potential Deal Never Gets Off the Ground

For the past couple of weeks, Barcelona and Nico Williams had wanted to strike a deal.

Landing the Spanish star forward and Athletic Club player would have catapulted Barca to near Champions League favoritism.

Williams and Barcelona would mean a repeat of Spain’s EURO 2024 winning lineup where Lamine Yamal plays on one wing and Williams plays on the other.

The deal isn’t likely.

Barca has already turned their attention towards another Spanish star, Dani Olmo.

Landing Olmo would make Barcelona a true La Liga and CL contender.

A lineup that included Raphinha, Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Olmo would be something to behold.

Alvarez may Be on the Move from City to Atletico

One of the reasons to give the cold shoulder to the Sky Blues to win this year’s Champions League is because super sub Argentinian Julian Alvarez is considering a move to Atletico.

Alvarez wants to play in more significant matches, he said, which is difficult to do considering Man City’s deep roster.

Losing Alvarez could be a big blow.

Although Erling Haaland had a great season, he fell flat towards the end and wasn’t able to pick things up for City in their quest for a second straight Champions League title.

Alvarez is a solid player.

Atletico is going hard after him. So expect more news soon.

Early Top Three Champions League Picks

First: Real Madrid

It makes no sense why the defending champions aren’t the opening odds chalk.

Real has won more Champions League title than any club in history and it isn’t close.

So why is Real at +300 after landing Mbappe and Endrick starting to shine?

It makes no sense. Not that we should complain. Jump on the +300 if you can find it.

Second: Arsenal

This is the season when Arsenal overtakes Man City in the Premier.

Not only will the Gunners win the Premier, but they will also make it to the Champions League Semifinals.

The Gunners could win it all behind a lineup that includes the terrific Bukayo Saka, one of the rising stars in the Premier.

Saka has the chance to win the Ballon d’Or this season.

Also, the midfield is stunning. Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice, and Kai Havertz almost rivals, Bellingham and his midfield crew at Real.

Third: Barcelona

Barca may not transfer Nico Williams, but the La Liga power has done enough under Hans Flick to bring joy back to their fans.

Expect a rousing Champions League.

Ageless Ilkay Gudogan leads a midfield that includes Pedri, 19 year old Gavi, and Fermin Lopez. Yamal broke out at the Euro Cup.

He’ll be the key. If Lewa is anything close to his old self, Barcelona is going to dominate many of their opponents.

Also, the CL odds are fantastic considering the projected lineup.
