Josh Allen is the engine that makes the car go, and he is the center of the majority of the good Buffalo bets. Be it his individual stats, or the way the team performs because of him, Allen means as much to the Bills as any quarterback means to his team.

And when it comes to placing bets on the Bills for the upcoming season, Allen is where we begin.

Josh Allen does too many things at an elite level to not win an MVP award at some point in his career. Patrick Mahomes has two MVPs, and he’s going to win more. Joe Burrow is also a candidate to win every year. The only thing working against Allen right now is the crowded field. He has the talent, and he puts up the numbers.

2023 NFL MVP Award
Patrick Mahomes (+650)
Joe Burrow (+650)
Josh Allen (+750)

Josh Allen Stat Props

There are a number of player total props that Allen is also high up on the list, and one of the favorites to cash in.

He is currently listed at +1200 to win the NFL’s passing yards title. That ranks him fifth in the league, behind Mahomes, Burrow, Justin Herbert, and Kirk Cousins. The over/under on passing yards for Allen in 2023 is 4,201.5. Allen has gone over that total in each of the last three years.

For his career, Allen already has more than 3,000 yards rushing, and when it comes to the prop bet on which quarterback will lead the NFL in rushing, he is among the leaders.

Allen is a bit of a longshot when compared to players like Justin Fields and Lamar Jackson. But both of those players have proven to be injury-prone, and last season Allen was just two yards away from finishing second in the league.

2023 NFL Stat Props
Justin Fields (+175)
Lamar Jackson (+250)
Jalen Hurts (+350)
Anthony Richardson (+450)
Josh Allen (+1000)

Most Receiving Yards in 2023

Allen isn’t the only star on the Buffalo offense that is capable of winning you money. Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is among the betting favorites to lead the NFL in receiving yards in 2023, and his history makes him one to watch.

Last year Diggs finished fourth in receptions, fifth in receiving yards, and fourth in receiving touchdowns. In 2021 he was inside the top eight in all three of those categories.

2023 NFL Most Receiving Yards
Justin Jefferson (+650)
Ja’Marr Chase (+700)
Tyreek Hill (+900)
Cooper Kupp (+1100)
A.J. Brown (+1600)
Stefon Diggs (+1800)

Offensive Rookie of the Year

The biggest addition to the Bills offense this season is rookie tight end, Dalton Kincaid. He’s a long shot to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award at +3500, but he is the highest-ranked of the great 2023 class of rookie tight ends.

Michael Mayer, now with the Raiders, is paying +4000. Darnell Washington, drafted by the Steelers, is +6000. Sam LaPorta, drafted in the second round by the Lions, is also +6000.
