We’re in the home stretch of the 2022-23 National Basketball Association (NBA) season and there’s plenty of great games this weekend as teams jostle for playoff positioning. Most teams have fewer than 10 games remaining.

There’s 25 games in total on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and plenty of great betting action available.

Weekend Games to Bet On in the NBA

NBA Week 22: March 20-26, 2023

Detroit Pistons vs. Toronto Raptors -12.5

The Toronto Raptors have been a model of mediocrity this season, but they’ve always been one of the league’s best teams at home and that’s no different this season. Toronto, which sits ninth in the East, is 23-14 at Scotiabank Arena and are coming off of a disappointing home loss to the Indiana Pacers. They’ll rebound against the lowly Pistons on Friday and cover the -12.5 spread.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Utah Jazz U235.5

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Utah Jazz have two of the best against the spread (ATS) records this season. Like Toronto, Utah has been a disappointment this season but are still a threat on home court. The bet here, however, is on the total.

Milwaukee is one of the best defensive teams in the league. They score less and give up less on the road, with the under hitting in 24 of its 35 road games this season.

Phoenix Suns vs. Sacramento Kings -5

It’s starting to look like Sacramento won’t be challenged by the Suns for third in the West. The Phoenix Suns have lost two in a row and come into Friday’s game without Kevin Durant and Deandre Ayton, who are out with ankle and hip injuries. The Sacramento Kings have an extra day of rest and hasn’t had to travel – they should cover -5.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Denver Nuggets ML

The odds aren’t listed yet for tomorrow’s Bucks vs. Nuggets match, but the spread shouldn’t be more than a few points. This could be a pick-em, but favor the Nuggets who will have two days rest while the Bucks are playing in the second half of a back-to-back. Denver is 30-6 at home this season.

New Orleans Pelicans ML vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Again, the moneyline should offer some good value in the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Clippers game on Saturday night. New Orleans has won three games in a row (albeit over the Charlotte Hornets, San Antonio Spurs, and Houston Rockets), and the Clippers, who are just 20-17 at home this season, will be without Paul George. The veteran guard, averaging 23.8 PPG, is out at least two weeks with a leg injury.

The total should be relatively high for the Oklahoma City Thunder and Portland Trail Blazers matchup on Sunday night, but take the over with confidence here. The over is 24-13 in Oklahoma City road games this season and 21-13-1 in Trail Blazers home games.
